This game is fun to watch with all the pressure off.

Most of the guys on our team haven't had an off day for the better part of a month. They deserve a break and I don't care what it does to the playoff picture. Ozzie would have rested these guys no matter who we were playing the day after our clincher, it just happened to be Cleveland.

How about off the field? I think 2005 was really a breakout year in the booth for a young aspiring play by play announcer. It's been a while since we've heard it but... :uhoh My favorite moment is the AJ walkoff because I was there. Other top moments are our four game road sweeps at Baltimore and Cleveland. I don't care how bad the teams were at the time, winning four in a row in anyone's ballpark is no small task.

There's a good thread on the whitesox.com board with similar memories of late Sox fans here. Sometimes I don't realize how much history is a part of this team and game that I love.
