The Sox had a 3.0 game lead four days ago. It's now half that. Detroit still has a double header on Sunday, hard to sweep those. After Tigers' atrocious play all season we can only assume they will continue their mediocre play on the road. This is how it happens and it happens fast. The Tigers now have Scherzer back who is not completely healthy, and are playing the pesky Royals and Twins away to finish the season. At the most important time of the season Sox need to step it up and seal the division. Soon.
