  1. I think that's on third base coach, you gotta tell him to stay put or come back. Hesitation killed him there
  2. HIS NAME IS RIOS AND HE.. is now on twitter. http://twitter.com/arios51
  3. I'd love to have Peavy back at a reasonable price.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 20, 2012 -> 12:42 PM) . MLB Network is doing live look ins that's about it from what I know.
  5. The last U.S. Census recorded 219 residents. If Industry were to host the Angels, it would be the least-populous city to host an MLB franchise. By a lot. The shopping-mall scenes in the Back to the Future movies were filmed at an Industry mall. There's a McDonald's in Industry that is used "strictly for filming movies and commercials." (Imagine how frustrating that must be for hungry visitors!) "City of Industry is also home to an unusual number of strip clubs, including the headquarters of the Spearmint Rhino chain." Sounds like a great place to visit!
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 11:20 PM) Those playoff percentage stats piss me off. They mean nothing. So Sox were 80 percent a day ago? What if Detroit is one-game out after tomorrow? Is Detroit suddenly 50 percent and Sox 50? Playoff percentages are bulls*** IMHO. They go exactly how you described. I dont look at them at all.
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 10:52 PM) Let's play the What If game.... If, as expected, Guthrie handcuffs the Sox tomorrow and we get shut out a second day in a row, and if Detroit wins and they are one out ... do you think the Tigers are locks to win the division considering their easy schedule compared to the Sox the rest of the way? Will you be alarmed if it's one game after tomorrow? Alarmed yes, Detroit a lock? By no means. Detroit goes to play on the road then and they are a very mediocre road team. With that said, win tomorrow and go A's. EDIT: Now that I look at schedule Detroit has 8 straight at home still before they hit the road. Sox wanna be at least 2 games with 6 to go.

    2012 TV Thread

QUOTE (Disco72 @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 09:13 PM) Not bad so far. I couldn't figure out if we were supposed to recognize them or not.
  9. Ya while Ventura has lost us few games this season, it's hard to put this one on him, IMHO.
  10. Yankees win both games today, pressure on the O's who face King Felix tonight. CJ Wilson can't make it out of the 3rd inning as his team is trailing 0-3. Wilson pulled.
  11. QUOTE (BlackBetsy @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 10:02 PM) Even if that happened the Angels and Rays are in the mix. Rays are looking pretty done, they were 6 GB the wild card spot and division after last night.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 09:43 PM) Hopefully A's also show up tomorrow and beat the Tigers. I really was counting on A's to do some damage. Thankfully Tigers are mediocre on the road. Hopefully KC will be to them what they are to us.
  13. Win tomorrow, and I'll take 2 out of 3 on the road.
  14. That wasn't even a hard catch. That would be game.
  15. Lol Chen tossing heat up there.. 69mph full of heat!
  16. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 08:46 PM) How did you f*** up "King Kong"? He didn't, thats just sunofgold for ya.

    Job Hunt Thread

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 10:34 AM) I would say if you are young, single, and have no children, this is the time to try it, if ever. If not, don't. It is incredibly dangerous, which is why they are offering big money do it. My thoughts exactly, albeit I'm almost 28, I will try to find out the details before I even give this a thought.
