what i have been saying for weeks is finally being talked about...this will increase his trade vaule???...why would we want to trade a guy who is helping us win big games in september??...sorry paulie, but u still get no respect..
well the a's have the best september record each year...i think moyer would deserve it because of his performance and his age but i would give my vote to loaiza..he has been a leader in all the important categories..
well he wasnt available so there is really no point in talking about this...at this point i am glad with what we have and i do not think ponson is as good as his record...
everyone has talent...its the ones who come up big for their teams in clutch situations..i guess we will see how ponson handles himslef during the playoffs...
true..but i think the era should be more important than the record since u do face the same hitters as the other pitchers adn its not like the decide not to hit u still gotta get the outs...
cotts will be a good pitcher in time, but now is not his time..i'd much rather go with a four man rotation than putting him out there and having to worry if he will even make it out of the first inning..
no it is highly unlikely that would have happened with buerhle since he doesnt normally walk people..the walks are what killed cotts just like they have since he came up..if u average a walk an inning u will not be successful..what do u think makes maddux so good??
no i dont think the same thing would have happened becuase unlike cotts those guys have the experience and cotts' inability to throw strikes puts men on base and then heahs to throw pitches that are easy to hit because he is afaid of walking them...
i agree that was a bad move although i am a manuel supporter...i dont think a manager who has the best record since the all star break deserves to be fired..that is a little harsh..
