Freddy Garcia wont help this team either...we dont need guys that are just average pitchers..i'd rather let cotts or another prospect get a chance to start
Kerry Wood is a dominating big game pitcher and I dont think Wells can even be compared with Wood...I also hate the Cubs, but like Kerry Wood because he is from Texas..
Well I dont think you can call him a good pitcher until he gets 15+ wins consistently...I think his era would be higher if he pitched somewhere other than Pittsburg, which is known as a pitchers park...
I dont think we can say how wells is based on one start this year...he is good pitcher and would have defintely helped us more than ritchie, but i think it is a stretch to call him an "ace" after only one outing...If you want to make those assumptions then I guess it's safe to say the Yankees are worse than the Devil Rays..or that Travis Hafner is the best hitter in the league...
i dont think we can say marte is a question mark just because he had a bad game and also i can't say politte is our best reliever...we need a good month or two to determine that...
this was a real tough loss..we can't blow a 7-3 lead like that, especially when we are playing games within the division...i think ozzie did a decent job managing the game...leaving marte in was a good choice considering that he has dominated the last few years..
Steve your right...I hate the Cubs, but getting Maddux not only helps them now with another pitcher..it gives the other young pitchers a veteran who can teach then how to pitch...This was a really good move, but the Cubs will still choke...
These owners in baseball who complain about money loses are full of s***. If this is such a bad business why do these businessmen line up to buy a team? and also they have enough money for their lives....If the sox spent some cash and put a CONSISTENT team out there people would come...
