  1. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 02:44 PM) Did he hit it hard? yeah, he ripped it.
  2. Tigers announcers are saying Alexei is 6'5, 210......huh?
  3. Wow Konerko. Awful swing. lol. Looked like Beckham on that swing.
  4. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 02:23 PM) How on earth did that happen? Don't they just have a standard wooden frame? They do, but I'd imagine it was because the box was moved up 6-7 inches more than normal.
  5. Cabrera clearly isn't SEEING STRAIGHT.....for a couple reasons.
  6. LOL. Tigers broadcasters saying the White Sox are trying to pull a fast one on the Tigers, and it's a good move if you can get away with it. Uh how? It's the same for everyone. It is messes up Cabrera, it's bound to mess up at least 1 Sox hitter too.
  7. Well, I found a crappy Tigers feed. Better than nothing.... http://www.sportwebz.com/live/100681-mlb-d...vivo/gratis/tv/ EDIT: Actually, it's an extremely smooth feed so far. And seems to be damn near live, it's ahead of Gameday.
  8. If anyone finds the stream online, a link would be awesome.
  9. QUOTE (LVSoxFan @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 10:53 AM) Um, I did too until I got my first tablet and now an iPad. They're awesome. Although why the hell I would bring one to a game... I would never do that. For what? It's bad enough people who are the phone the whole time, but tablets/laptops? Another slide into the HDG (Head Down Generation). My mom has the Kindle Fire and it's fun to mess around on, but I just don't find tablets practical. If you are going to carry around something so big, might as well just carry around a netbook, or a laptop. I feel like WELL over half the people who own a tablet have it for the "look what I have!" factor, especially the ones who buy Apple's tablet. But then again, that's true for pretty much anyone who buys an Apple device over other devices. But I could go on for days about this, and it's not really the thread for that.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 10:52 AM) I dont tell greg he is wrong. I just say "come on, again?" its different. And this is mostly to tell Joe to stop baiting you, which he clearly is. Lets get back to what this thread is about, not telling Joe to quit pimping lazy mans dog products. Aaawwww so close! I thought for a second there you would go through the whole thing without adding in your own personal opinion. So while telling us to stop, you also weighed in the issue.
  11. I jinxed myself. 31 game streak comes to an end. Damn.
  12. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 07:21 PM) I find people who have an illogical hatred of tablets amusing. You don't like them, fine don't buy one. But making jokes about destroying a persons property because of your personal biases is sad. Who said I was joking? And where is your outrage for the OP who appears to dislike people who bring their laptops to a game? Talk about personal biases....
  13. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 06:51 PM) It is for those 1 per centers I think those people who are invested in their fantasy baseball teams, other teams around the league, or social media would enjoy it. Simply put, this can't HURT any more than it will help. If only 1 person gets use of it, it's worth it. Either way, I'm under the impression the Sox are GETTING money from this deal, not spending money, right?
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 06:42 PM) Why do you insist on talking about this nonsense every chance you get? Honestly, I don't think you've found one other person here that believes this to be a good idea. I'm just wondering how she is going to react to it. She has never had to be hungry before. It will be an interesting experience to observe.
  15. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 01:51 PM) Holmberg is off to a good start for high-A. He'll probably be in AA befoire his 21st birthday. Thanks, Kenny! http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?s...&pid=571787 As I have already said, that's my only gripe with that trade, then and now. There was NO REASON that Holmberg should have been added in.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 06:18 PM) I like this for my iPhone. Does anyone really bring laptops or iPads to games? If I see someone bring their Apple iPad to a game, I'd make it a point to "accidentally" spill something on it. I think tablets so dumb, and then when I see someone who buys Apple's tablet? Facepalm.
  17. I think my brother is going to bring his puppy with him to my school this weekend. Pretty excited to see her again. It's going to be weird for her not being able to eat and drink whenever she wants though. Sucks to take that option away from her, but oh well, it's only for a couple days.
  18. Cool. I'm not sure if I would ever bring my laptop to a game (unless I was in the skybox), but if I ever do get a smart phone, it would be nice to use the WiFi at the games. I'm actually surprised it took so long. I feel like Wrigley has had WiFi for a long time.
  19. HAHAHAHA you suck Alex Burrows! Mike Richards lays him the f*** out, then he skates over the puck like an idiot and the Kings get the empty-netter. Wings and most importantly, Vancouver lost. f***ing awesome day of hockey!
  20. So in my RTTS, I am halfway through the year 2017. I simulate any game I am not starting, and then every once and a while I'll simulate a week. I just want to finally get to a point where my player can become a Free Agent. I want to be able to have multiple offers, and make a choice. I hate being randomly thrown to teams that are awful, and then not being able to leave them. So in 2017 season, my AVG in the majors was like .086 after 15 games or so. lol. I think I have been called up and sent down from the majors 3 or 4 times. I always make it, but can never stay there. So now in AAA, I am just tearing s*** up. I have a 31-game hitting streak, am batting something like .409 and have around 40 RBI in 35 games or so. I am racking up the pts, and my player is finally getting good ratings. 70 CON vs. LHP 71 CON vs. RHP 71 PWR vs. LHP 75 PWR vs. RHP 89 SPD I love having that speed. I steal every base I attempt, I beat out a lot of ground balls, and I extend a lot of singles in to doubles. It's great. Haven't tried bunting for a hit yet, but once I get my bunting skills up, I will give it a go.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 09:32 PM) Jackoff time - the OS Sports Full Minors Opening Day rosters are now live. http://www.operationsports.com/forums/mlb-...pening-day.html I get these every year. The detail, down to every face of minor leaguers. Everyone. Done. I remember their Morel two years ago was as spot on as they get. I cannot wait to unleash Hector Santiago tonight (and trade Alex Rios), as I start my legit season. Glad I got my P90X out of the way this morning! They actually released what is probably 98% of the same exact roster 2 weeks ago. The only difference was the 25 man rosters for teams who had a position battle going on. But yeah, these rosters are amazing. My first move will be to trade Rios to AZ for Gerardo Parra. And then probably trade Floyd for Trevor Bauer if I can convince them somehow.
  22. I saw that move, but I didn't even put 2 and 2 together. Hahaha, hilarious Kenny. That is brilliant.
