  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 01:46 AM) LOL at Bautista's deke to fool Mark Reynolds into thinking he wasn't going to catch a pop-up and then doubling him off first with the strong throw from RF. I enjoyed that too, I thought it was really clever haha. And I agree his fastball has a really nice sinking movement on it.
  2. QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 01:41 AM) Wonder if he's a Mark B. fan or if the #56 was just by chance. Isn't he from the Chicago Land? Hes from Texas, the reliever we got in the deal, Jason Frasor, is from the Oak Forest, IL area
  3. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 01:34 AM) And Robert Gallery too! In Pete I trust! No Leinart though, what a bummer. But I just wanted to see how Leinart would play under his coach in college and in NFL. Probably still terrible. He should have just got injured and claimed the figure he put out to insure his arm his senior season.
  4. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 01:25 AM) http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=15969701 Condensed game. The condensed game really funny to watch since all you hear is the ball hitting the mitt or the bat. I think he looks good on the mound and I hope we see him this season and he pitches well, he'll have to find a new number though.
  5. Ill be at this game on Sunday. It should be awesome to watch the moment in person. Too bad the statue is going in left center, I'll be sitting in right center.
  6. So when looking at this trade by what the 3 teams collected in the trade: Blue Jays: OF Colby Rasmus, RP Trever Miller, RP Brian Tallet, RP P.J. Walters, 3B Mark Teahen Cardinals: SP Edwin Jackson, RP Marc Rzepczynski, RP Octavio Dotel, OF Corey Patterson White Sox: P Zack Stewart, RP Jason Frasor How would you rank the 3 teams with what they got? 1. Blue Jays 2. Sox 3. Cards I just needed to see it all out in front of me of how terrible this was for the cards, ranking this is probably pretty easy. And I know everyone hates him, but I think Teahen works well for Toronto seeing as Bautista said he prefers OF and the Jays can put a guy paid like a mlb player at 3rd.
  7. This guy really is a fantasy expert, making our fantasies of Rios off the team come true! (anyone make this joke yet)
  8. Fun Fact: Jason Frasor is cousins with Bobby Frasor, for any of our southside, br. rice hs, unc fans out there.
  9. Very lucky to get out of that inning without giving up a run
  10. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jul 27, 2011 -> 01:16 PM) Good first inning for Danks Oh, and might wanna keep an eye on the Angels-Indians game. It's in the 9th and... Well stoney just took care of that one for you and spared us the jinx
  11. Well just spent a solid 2 hours in the EJax-Teahen trade thread, our members like to get hostile with each other dont we? Oh well! I am fine with the trade. Now time for the only thing we can always depend on, some baseball action!
  12. Think of how much hair the whitesox would have with the addition of Rasmus with his mop and Beckhams ... that alone is reason to make the trade obviously.
  13. I am very impressed with Notre Dame, yeah its against Nevada, but they just look so good and smooth
  14. I have watched sportscenter about 7 times today
  15. T-Flow will be wearing #39, but I doubt that will be his official number if he makes the team next spring .. thats the number Getz wore last year when he got the call up so I am just assuming I want to change my username to TFlow## .. but ill have to wait
  16. Help me here, just to make it look like we can have a real convo, Does Thome go into the Hall Of Fame as an Indian? Seems like the most sense after what he did but Indian fans dont even respect the man, which makes me hate them
