Down and in is a danger zone pitch, also not many players would take that pitch opposite way with authority. That's a turn and burn pitch. Goldy is just a beast.
That said, the Sox would pound that pitch into the dirt.
I'd like to see him against a non-putrid offense, but we all knew something like this was gonna happen as soon as Cleveland took him.
