He's swinging at everything. You can't be successful in the majors that way, even as strong as he is.

It's a sad state of affairs when so many people rush to defend a guy hitting so poorly over the past month because sometimes he's the only offense the team can muster.

Mariners have been great about scoring right after we do in these two games so far.

No, it is not. It's the only thing preventing him from being absolutely atrocious. He needs to start being more selective or as soon as he's not hitting for power he'll be sent down.

See my other post. He's not doing anything else well.

He's hitting .160 in the last two weeks lol he doesn't homer all the time. That's all he does - occasionally run into one.

Yay a walk AND a run without a homer!

.205/.230/.470 over the last 28 days, .167/.222/.571 last 14, .160/.192/.560 last 7. The homers are disguising a bad ballplayer.

Burger magic seems to be over. Hope he can get hot again.

What the hell happened there?

Nice play by Burger but Lucas isn’t long for this game. 48 pitches and not even through the second yet.

Good thing Zavala threw that runner out or it'd be 3-1

This team just can not hit.

Golden sombrero for Robert.

Wow that was CLOSE. Wish we had guys who ran that hard.

DJ really laying into TA for that inexplicable throwing error.

That was something…

Can’t score runs so every opposition run is a dagger

Just can’t hold a damn lead here

hahahahaha this loser just gave up a homer to the guy with the longest drought in the majors

I think the Mariners have left 700 guys on base tonight

Thanks for pinch hitting Pollock!

Everything is such a struggle with this team

If they’re not hitting homers or having good BABIP luck this team just won’t score

That ball did not look that well hit off the bat. Kopech having one of his bad innings.
