Great game to be at - beautiful weather and the Sox played well. Surprised the crowd was so small, though, but having a whole row lower deck behind home plate to ourselves was pretty great. Play at the end of the game looked safe to me from where we sat. Glad I was wrong.
No - all three are potentially solid starters, but none of them have done that consistently in the minors. I imagine they're all due for regression, though Naylor hits the ball really hard, so for him it'll be more using his aggression against him.
Not mad at TLR for the minor moves (pitching to Naylor etc). The lack of preparation and consistency is atrocious though. TA shouldn't be playing the way he is on defense. The team needs to take pitches while hitting.
Didn't expect to be here with an 8-2 lead headed into the 9th. Oh well. Glad they got kicked in the teeth here. Clean that defense up or you're not going anywhere.
