Yeah it's absolutely swinging at bad pitches and not taking walks. Run scoring comes down to BABIP luck.

I’m trying so hard to believe in these guys but this team is just bad. How they think they can not take any walks and win is mind boggling.

I don’t agree with bringing him in for this situation at all, after beating cancer, when he needs that adrenaline from closing to pitch well. The results unfortunately show why this was bad move.

I still think Kopech figured something out. He was dynamite after that awful first. He needs to limit those innings and he’ll be good. Now, can the entire offense stop slumping at the same time?

These guys play dumb baseball

So deflating to blow a lead that way

Whole team forgot how to throw strikes in Detroit

Cease reverted to pre 2022

Bad bullpen performance and bad bullpen usage lost this one. Could’ve snuck the win out. Oh well. Win tomorrow and keep rolling.

Cool to give 7 runs up to this awful offense in 2 of 3 games

I don't normally get upset about bullpen usage because it's a crap shoot, but Kelly was clearly struggling today and giving up a ton of hard contact. Should have gotten him out after the double.

Robert might've had that, but still. Kelly getting hammered. And they're still not taking him out. Sheesh.

Kelly struggling today. Might be worth getting him out of there now.

McKinstry killing the Sox

How do you walk these .200 hitters

Yay a hit

Why challenge this?

Getting no-hit after scoring 12 is always fun.

I bet Romy makes that play at second, and Hanser isn’t hitting well enough to overcome that awful defense - which is really sad, given what Romy has done this year.

Lynn can’t find the plate now

Bad defense again

I like Moncada. I like Vaughn.

I like Frazier

Throw strikes!

Vaughn really needs to get it going or Sheets and Burger are gonna take his job.
