Humber will take Peavy's place. He's definitely stretched out the most; doing the best.

If anything now, they should push his first start back to April 9th. They don't need a 5th starter until then.

I'm happy that Peavy hasn't had a blip until now, but wouldn't have made more sense just to give the three starts (4/9, 4/19, 4/24) to Humber, and have Peavy start his season on April 29th at home? I'm not saying that's what they should do now, but from the get-go, just plan for him to come back at the end of April.

With Peavy due to start on April 6th, they can afford to push him back to next weekend. Maybe minor league games on the 26th and 31st. Then be ready for April 6 at KC.

This probably deserves its own thread, but shouldn't the Sox seriously consider sending Chris Sale to the minors to be a starting pitcher? He's been bad this spring. Bad control. They're talking about him on the radio now, saying he's been down on himself. Wouldn't it be a good thing to send him down and get him 140 innings as a starter, and then have him ready to move into the rotation in 2012? I sure think so. I know they wanted to have a 3rd lefty to face Minnesota and Cleveland, but most of the division games are after the AS Break. If they need to make a move then, they can do it.

He came off ok in the interview, but I've heard Milton Bradley sound ok in interviews too. I've heard Adam Dunn say he's a good teammate. I'll take his word for it. I just hope Ozzie or his teammates teach him how to act on the field. The guys that disrespect the game tend to not stick around.

The Laumann interview wasn't that great. Talked a lot about Sale. I kind of wish Rongey would have asked him how much they scouted Mike Trout in 2009, and why they went with Mitchell.

It's such a nice thing when the ball is hit to Morel. You know the throw is going to be on the money. Teahen...hold your breath, and hope. Humber dealing. In my opinion, the 25-man roster is set...barring a trade/injury.
