  1. 35-32 at Wrigley. 68-63 overall.
  2. Ah yes, thanks. Still, no three city road trips for the Sox next year.
  3. 5-man rotation, Rodon starts Spot starter between, Lynn starts
  4. Don’t know if it’s all of baseball, but no home stands or road trips that are three series. That’s got to be a Sox first.
  5. 59 game stretch with only 10 division games. Tough May/June.
  6. Good day to come back. Robert turns 24 on Tuesday.
  7. Magic Number is 50. So we got some time, Bob.
  8. Full strength roster when Grandal is back- Anderson, Hernandez, Abreu, Jimenez, Moncada, Robert, Grandal, Vaughn, Engel, Garcia, Goodwin, Hamilton, Collins Lynn, Rodon, Giolito, Cease, Keuchel, Lopez, Ruiz, Crochet, Tepera, Bummer, Kopech, Hendriks, Kimbrel We can only hope we get this the last quarter of the season and the postseason.
  9. Tigers are 47-49 vs teams not named White Sox
  10. La Russa on Score now… sounds like Eloy won’t play until Tuesday at the earliest.
  11. 2 on this date notes... Last year, Nick Madrigal made his major league debut. And 30 years ago tonight, Robin Ventura hit a walk off grand slam off Goose Gossage for a 10-8 win vs the Rangers. It capped Ventura's July-.357/.431/.739/1.170, 8 hr, 12 doubles. 4:45 mark
  12. Needed that!
  13. Good time for Seby’s first HR. Always will be.
  14. I don’t think they’re catching the Sox. The offense will come around, and we’ll win 90 no matter what.
  15. Time to seriously consider staggering 10 days off for every one of the starters. I mean, why wouldn’t they?
  16. He was (and is) the classic High Floor player. He will be a big leaguer for a long time if he can stay off the IL. When the Sox picked him, they were all in on acquiring Machado from the Orioles until they didn’t. And then again after that season when it was Manny or Harper…again, didn’t happen. They envisioned Nick being a safe, good big leaguer around one of these monsters.
  17. Have they released Ty Madrigal yet?
  18. I can’t blame the Sox for allowing Madrigal to be available based on his size and injury history in his short career (no pun intended). I hope that guy has a long career and is very good. That said, I love the pitching staff and it’ll be worth it if the offense can get their shit together.
  19. Yeah. I looked at his player page yesterday for the first time. He’s had a good 12 months. He’ll be ok.
  20. You know the Sox are scoring 7 today. Baseball.
  21. 162 games between 2020-21. Sox are 95-67 Giolito old school numbers: 33 starts, 12-10, 3.60 ERA, 197.1 innings Overall record, he deserves better. Not worried, but didn’t feel like starting a new thread.
  22. Brad Hand to Toronto
  23. When you look at his 154 games with Cleveland, that adds up to a decent season. Not exciting, but an upgrade. Now go get some bullpen help.
