  1. You mean MLB (not the MLB) is protecting the companies that actually pay them money for advertising? Bauer is a whining baby.
  2. Also on MLB Network for the out of towners
  3. Happy St. Patty's Day
  4. Rooting for Mendick over Collins. Unfortunately the AAA season doesn’t get guys playing for real in May, but I’d like to see Collins get regular at bats somewhere instead of mostly sitting.
  5. Ok, forgot about the 13 pitcher limit. Add Mendick. Drop Collins. Deal with Cordero on April 4. I’m sure there will be a lot of phantom pitcher injuries this season in all of baseball.
  6. I'll take a shot at the final 16 cuts: First, Jace Fry goes on the IL; Jimmy Cordero is suspended for three games The other 14-: Pitchers- Burr, Guerrero, McRae, Sadzeck, Ruiz Catchers- Mercedes Infielders- Beckham, Hernandez, Remillard, Reynolds, Mendick Outfielders- Hamilton, Williams, Gonzalez I have Vaughn and Collins making it. Maybe Collins goes when Cordero is activated.
  7. B-game lineup
  8. On MLB Network overnight
  9. 3:05 CDT- Central Daylight Time. Standard time returns in early November.
  10. You know what I like about Len Kasper? He’s not Jason Benetti. The worst thing about the Sox right now is the shit TV announcers. Hopefully the radio feed matches up to the video enough to enjoy it live, otherwise I’ll watch on mute.
  11. Ohtani is the starting pitcher for the Angels. They didn’t bring many regulars to Glendale.
  12. Looks like all the games Saturday to March 28 are viewable if that’s what you’re looking for. Flagship tomorrow. MLB Network on Sunday.
  13. I’d also like to ban in-game video and cheat sheet cards. I don’t want to see players reading during a game. Prepare for the test, take the test (the game), and then learn from it afterwards.
  14. I really like the 15 second pitch clock in one of the A leagues. These guys are going to learn how to play at a faster pace, and hopefully the game moves back to less dead time. That’s the biggest culprit to time of game.
  15. Dunning is scheduled to pitch three innings today in a B game vs the Sox
  16. Looks like Bad Reynaldo started tonight.
  17. Shorter at bats decreases time of game.
  18. I'm ok with trying anything at the minor league level. I'm not sure about the pickoff stuff...never really thought about it. But after years of hitters not adjusting to the shift, I'm ok with defensive limitations. Try it out. See what happens. Anything that lowers three true outcomes, time of game and makes the game more enjoyable to watch, I'm interested.
  19. Doesn't like the 3 batter minimum and the runner on 2nd in extras...well at least he has common sense.
  20. I hope this is the last Coop interview ever. It's 2021. Time to move forward and enjoy what's happening now and the next 5-7 years.
  21. Dallas Keuchel engaged to Kelly Nash. Good for him!
  22. The one thing we know about baseball in 2021 is that teams will deploy pitching is various ways this season. There will be 6-man rotations for some. There will be tandem starts, openers, etc. If the Sox started the season with a regular 5-man and planned on The Big 3 getting 33 starts and 215 innings, sign me up if they think they can do it and be ready for October. I tend to think they'll space out some things and get it down to 30-31 starts and 180-190 innings.
