I just think it’s a bad year. Early on, you want to load up on division games because there’s more opportunities to make them up. Outside the division, sure, try to play in domes and warmer places. There’s just way too much freaking out over a freak year.

Eight 4-team divisions would never work in baseball. Four 8-team divisions could work, but I’d rather not see geographical realignment. The leagues are special and teams in the same market should remain in separate leagues.

The Sox obviously didn’t want to give up June 4th as an off day.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Yankees-Tigers end up playing two on June 4th also. Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati...not a good weekend for baseball.
