Abreu will be appreciated for his professional play and hitting prowess, but he doesn’t fit with what the Sox are trying to cultivate. 31 in January. That doesn’t fit the sustained success they’re going for in 2020-2024.

Real talk--Hoffman, Guerrero, Chipper, and Thome are getting in. Vizquel will get closer than a lot of people will believe. Edgar Martinez will get close, but fall short. This might be the year Sosa fall offs. Damon will be one and done. Next year Rivera, Halladay, Helton, Berkman, Oswalt, and Pettitte will join the ballot and we'll do this again.

For me, the 3rd season of Curb was the best. 4th, not too far behind. I got to watch the new season last weekend...pret-tay good.
