  1. Len Kasper is a word I can't use here. Use your imagination.
  2. That's how things end properly. Ump handled it right.
  3. Let's see who is left on the team next Monday night before going too nuts about Moncada's spot in the order. For me, Melky gets traded, and Anderson-Moncada hit 1-2 for two months. No bunting before the 8th inning.
  4. Moncada will take Lackey deep for his first hr.
  5. Phillies, Giants, Reds, Padres, and A's all lost yesterday.

I'm hopeful for Collins becoming a better hitter, but the Sox front office better be looking long and hard at the people instructing these guys in the minors. They cannot afford having bad hitting results anymore.

    Fulmer sucks.
  8. Sox win 5-3. World ends.
  9. I wonder if the front office is just letting Renteria do whatever he wants this year, and then after the season they'll talk about situations that came up that they would like to see differently next season. Early inning bunting has to stop.
  10. Kershaw out 4-6 weeks. Hate when stars get hurt.
  11. Another outcome of this series- let's hope Moncada has a real batting average on Friday morning. That more than any won-loss outcome is what I'd like to see.
  12. I kinda look at the Brewers as a team the Sox could be in two years. Just not the right time to deplete their own farm system for a small chance at winning. Next year should be that time.
  13. This week, the Sox play last year's World Series teams. The Phillies have the Astros and Braves. The Giants have the Pirates and Dodgers. The Reds have seven road games. Indians today, two with Yankees, then Marlins.
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 24, 2017 -> 08:51 AM) This stuff drives me crazy, folks. Good news: The White Sox will try to win the games. Better news: The White Sox suck and so they will prolly lose anyways. Best news: Cheer for whatever the hell you want - it doesn't make a damned difference. Perfect.
  15. I'm good with anything, but for me, if some miracle happens where they give the Cubs four losses and they lose the division by a game, that would be pretty awesome. That said, the Cubs will win 3 or 4, and then it'll be over. Then back to trade deadline stuff.
  16. 6 times they've gone 2-2 or 3-3. 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2015, 2016 All time, Sox lead 57-51. 30-24 at home 27-27 at Wrigley
  17. I want the Sox to get the highest pick possible next year, but for the next four days, I hope the White Sox win each and every game with four quality starts and Yoan Moncada raking doubles and homers.
  18. 1. Phi -28 2. SF -24 3. Sox -19 4. Cin -16 5. SD -12 6. Oak -10 7. Tor -10 8. Mia -8 9. Det -7

Cease off to a good start through 2. 3 k
  20. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 23, 2017 -> 05:17 PM) Brice Turang for sure. Ok, thanks. I remember his dad on the Mariners back in 93. I'm a geezer.
  21. For those in the know, is there a high school bat that could potentially stand out as the number one next spring?
  22. I'll just suspend commenting the next four days. We know this team is s***ty.
  23. It's a rule they have to get walked off twice every time they go to KC.
  24. Phillies won. If the Sox lose today, they have to be 5 games worse the last 10 weeks. Could happen.
