July 3rd, I said go 3-11, then beat the Cubs four times. The Sox are 2-11, so I guess I'm good with a five game winning streak now. Yeah right.

Since starting 13-9, the Sox have played .347 baseball. If they play at that percentage the last 68 games, they'll be right at 100 losses. You know the old saying... You can't win the #1 pick in April, but you can lose it.

Just go Anderson-Moncada 1-2 the rest of the season. Get experience.

The combination of being home a lot, playing the Twins, Tigers, and Royals 27 of the last 50 games (they aren't great teams even though under Ventura they were terrible), and the weird stuff that happens the last two weeks of the season, I still think the Sox will stay under 100 losses. I think they're going to get to #2, and stay there. But let's also see who's on the 25-man in 12 days.

Don't judge individual trades for a while. Judge the critical mass and whether or not they're heading toward sustained success in the early 2020s.
