It seems like the Orioles have not signed more free agents due to failed physicals than all the other teams in the majors combined.

Rockies PR @RockiesPR

An MRI revealed #Rockies C Tom Murphy suffered a hairline fracture of his right forearm Saturday. Estimated recovery time is 4-6 weeks.

Derek Norris officially released. Nats only owe him like $750k. I imagine we will stick with Soto behind Narvaez but I wouldn't mind Norris to see if he could rebound a bit.

Rick Porcello will be the opening day starter for the Boston Red Sox.

They do not deserve Chris Sale.

I could see why they would pitch him or even Price before Sale (Porcello being CY Young winner, Price the guy they are paying to be an ace) even though Sale is better.

Just for fun:

Sale starts:

4-5 vs Pit

4-10 at Det

4-16 vs TB

4-21 at Bal

4-27 vs NY

5-2 vs Bal

5-7 at Min

5-13 vs TB

5-19 at Oak

5-25 vs Tex

5-30 at White Sox

Off a guy who will be bagging groceries in a couple of weeks...

Twins new GM is hoping they can avoid the long rebuild others have gone through. Uh, they have averaged over 94 losses a year the last 6 seasons.

Danks granted release from Braves. Hoping to pitch in the MLB. Come join the tank show!

Truth being told, bringing Danks back wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Let him suck up innings and teach some of these kids how to act like a big leaguer. I know his career took a big downward turn after the shoulder surgery, but he was the consummate professional. He took his turn every five days, he took ownership of his body of work, he didn't try to blame someone else for his downfall, and he never caused any problems while he was here.

that would help us towards the #1 pick. The guy is probably in awful shape too having been out of the game since 2004 and being 42 years old now.

Quintana would have to be dealt to even entertain this scenario.
