Hahn Confirms: Ventura back for 2016
QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 3, 2015 -> 02:01 PM) The weird thing is you never hear a word from anybody but us and the Sox announcers about how bad the Sox are in fundamentals and baserunning. It's pretty obvious Hawk and Stone think Robin blows cause if they thought he could lead a team they'd be telling us that over and over. Instead? Silence. I've heard them point out obvious mistakes a lot more this year. Personally, I think every one of the Sox announcers would say Robin is a nice guy, but they need a new leader...or A leader.

Twins and Angels both down 1-0 in the 4th inning. Rangers can clinch West with a win vs Angels. If that happens, the Astros can clinch tonight, a trip to New York for Tuesday's Play In Game.

QUOTE (Knackattack @ Oct 3, 2015 -> 12:26 PM) Why do the Mariners pick after us? Didn't we woop their ass this season? Tie breaker is last year's draft order.

Names on the back of player jerseys
QUOTE (3GamesToLove @ Oct 3, 2015 -> 08:55 AM) There is literally no downside to names on jerseys, except for teams who do nameplates that look crappy (thank God the Sox don't). Off the top of my head, the names on the back of NFL jerseys look really crappy and cheap. I personally get a bit annoyed when I tune into a Yankees game or Red Sox or Giants home game and don't know right away who's pitching. Luckily some of the TV broadcasts (FOX especially) have started displaying the pitcher/batter names throughout the entire AB above the scorebug now. Completely agree. It should be mandatory in today's game.

Cy Young Discussion
QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 23, 2015 -> 11:58 AM) AL: 1. Price 2. Keuchel 3. Gray NL: 1. Greinke 2. Arrieta 3. Kershaw With the right to change my picks. Greinke starts tonight. Yep. I would change to Arrieta. I actually think he's going to run away with it, and it has nothing to do with Greinke and Kershaw splitting votes, which never made sense.

Rooting for a repeat of 1985 for the LCS's. Royals - Blue Jays Dodgers - Cardinals This time Blue Jays/Dodgers, but would be stoked to see Buehrle pitch in a World Series game in St Louis going for a sweep.

10/2 vs Detroit Tigers
QUOTE (Dunt @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 08:10 PM) He's having an incredible season I'll acknowledge his season is ending with good numbers, while also pointing out he was part of the problem the first month when they played 8 of the first 10 series vs the AL Central. He's got to be better in April next year.
