  1. Dewayne Wise on the DL with a hamstring. Jordan Danks recalled. The brothers are on the 25-man for the first time.
  2. Sale's going. Which is nice. A's lineup https://twitter.com/Athletics/status/341218...4102145/photo/1

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 12:52 AM) Semien starting to heat it up. Up to .279 with .380 OBP. Rangel Ravelo continues to hit. Hitting .386 at W-S. Still needs to show some pop though, especially for a 1B. Semien seems to be making his way up the ladder very nicely. He's versatile in the field and can hit a little bit. At the very least, I think he'll play in the majors some day. I can't say that about Walker and Mitchell.

Charlotte walked 12 batters and only allowed 3 runs. That's hard to do. Veal had 4 of them. Bassitt with another good start.
  5. https://twitter.com/susanslusser/status/340987978446954496 I've noticed Gimenez being animated a few times this year and figured it would be an issue at some point this year. Not that I'm blaming him.
  6. This would be so stressful if the Sox were good.
  7. Nice!
  8. A's were 93.2% to win there. Now 65%
  9. Sale tomorrow.
  10. Here comes pain.
  11. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 05:37 PM) Sox always play like crap at the house of horror in Oakland. They've been better the last few years, but they're always good for at least one weird game a year....kinda like when the Sox go to KC.
  12. Hawk..STFU
  13. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 05:23 PM) 7 is quite the peculiar number. Why not look at the last 8 seasons? Oh wait, then you'd have to add 11 postseason wins for the Sox. That would ruin your agenda wouldn't it? Weak
  14. Anyone see that story on Casey Gillaspie, brother of Cone-r? He's at Wichita St. 6-4, 220. Power hitter. He'll be a junior next year.
  15. Konerko watching the Blackhawks in the clubhouse. /Ikeed
  16. Konerko out (of the game)
  17. Oh boy.
  18. Jordan Danks is having a good season. I don't think he'll be a long term starting player, but I'd rather watch him than De Aza.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 04:40 PM) Alexei now has gone 193 at bats without a home run. Would a team want him for basically 2.5 years at 24 mil?
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 04:20 PM) Put it this way...the Tigers have 2 less homers in the 4th inning today than 3/4 of our infield have all season.
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 04:17 PM) So the Sox have 6 homers all year from their 2b, SS and 3b combined. It's hysterical that a supposed home run hitting team is 13th in the league in homers.
  22. Miguel Cabrera grand slam. Jealous. So jealous.
  23. Jason Hammel ejected for hitting Tuiasosopo
  24. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 03:43 PM) Hawkins is the only one with a shot...if he gets his head out of the clouds. 15-25% chance Viciedo does it. After seeing some of his tweets, I have to remind myself he's 19. I just hope he's "baseball smart", or becomes baseball smart over the next few years. I have hope for Trayce Thompson because he seems to have some smarts to go along with some tools.
  25. Yes, Gillaspie has been very good. He's going to be a serviceable player. Actually De Aza looked good last year too. He's been a train wreck. More than anything, the Sox need to draft and develop a star offensive player. Hopefully soon.
