  1. A's were 93.2% to win there. Now 65%
  2. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 05:37 PM) Sox always play like crap at the house of horror in Oakland. They've been better the last few years, but they're always good for at least one weird game a year....kinda like when the Sox go to KC.
  3. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 05:23 PM) 7 is quite the peculiar number. Why not look at the last 8 seasons? Oh wait, then you'd have to add 11 postseason wins for the Sox. That would ruin your agenda wouldn't it? Weak
  4. Anyone see that story on Casey Gillaspie, brother of Cone-r? He's at Wichita St. 6-4, 220. Power hitter. He'll be a junior next year.
  5. Konerko watching the Blackhawks in the clubhouse. /Ikeed
  6. Jordan Danks is having a good season. I don't think he'll be a long term starting player, but I'd rather watch him than De Aza.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 04:40 PM) Alexei now has gone 193 at bats without a home run. Would a team want him for basically 2.5 years at 24 mil?
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 04:20 PM) Put it this way...the Tigers have 2 less homers in the 4th inning today than 3/4 of our infield have all season.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 04:17 PM) So the Sox have 6 homers all year from their 2b, SS and 3b combined. It's hysterical that a supposed home run hitting team is 13th in the league in homers.
  10. Miguel Cabrera grand slam. Jealous. So jealous.
  11. Jason Hammel ejected for hitting Tuiasosopo
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 03:43 PM) Hawkins is the only one with a shot...if he gets his head out of the clouds. 15-25% chance Viciedo does it. After seeing some of his tweets, I have to remind myself he's 19. I just hope he's "baseball smart", or becomes baseball smart over the next few years. I have hope for Trayce Thompson because he seems to have some smarts to go along with some tools.
  13. Yes, Gillaspie has been very good. He's going to be a serviceable player. Actually De Aza looked good last year too. He's been a train wreck. More than anything, the Sox need to draft and develop a star offensive player. Hopefully soon.
  14. Jean Stapleton, 90. She was awesome.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 03:34 PM) Another sterling interview by Dan Hayes. I missed it, but I get flop sweat just watching him.
  16. Quintana basically has a season's worth of production now. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/q/quintjo01.shtml All in all, a very good first year. Great job by the Sox getting guys like Quintana and Axelrod from other organizations. Now, how about some position players?
  17. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20130531 They included the DSL games, although I don't know if they'll be updated in real time.
  18. http://baseballpress.com/lineup.php Ventura sticking with what works.
  19. Here on June 1, the league average for runs scored in the AL is 4.47 per game. Det 5.15 Cle 4.93 Min 4.27 KC 3.94 Sox 3.52 Sox are almost a full run per game under league average. Last in the AL. Runs allowed average is 4.42 per game. Det 4.00 KC 4.13 Sox 4.13 Cle 4.54 Min 4.77
  20. If the Stanford outfielder is available, they'll take the Stanford outfielder. /kenny'd
