They had been taking care of business since Ager hit that three pointer to force OT vs Minnesota. They didn't come to play last night. The same thing happen last year, and we got to the Elite 8, so I am not worried. If they drop another game, I will ponder worrying, but not yet.

Forgot two teams, both MI squads. Everyone is so down on State losing to UI last night, but State did the same thing to IU that UI did to State...ie State BLEWOUT IU. Michigan is very underrated too.

I agree. Girls like getting stuff anytime. It is nice to surprise them at random times with flowers and candy and so on. They really like that. They also enjoy nice romantic dates, which do not always revolve around anniversaries and birthdates. BTW, my birthday is a day later, the 19th.

There is no doubt we need to beat both Wisconsin and Purdue, aswell as the rest of our schedule to insure we are in. The one thing people are forgetting, is that this team is good enough to make a run through the Big Ten tournament. There are four teams all pretty even towards the top, and a few teams just underneath them. I honestly think people are taking the Big Ten too lightly.

I do not agree. I think Wisconsin and Purdue are the only ones who deserve a bid as of right now. You say what has State done, well what has Illinois done? NOT A SINGLE QUALITY WIN FOR ILLINOIS, unless you count State as a quality team (which you clearly do not). Loss to N'Western too. Purdue beat you guys, they are a better team IMHO Your only hard games were UNC, Providence, Purdue, Wisconsin, and State. State is still tied with Illinois in the Big Ten schedule. That sucks how it happened. Neck injuries seem very common nowadays. I could post countless wrestlers who have been paralyed or had neck injuries which were back, including an Olympic medalist and former Minnesota wrestler.

I take full advantage of that.

When I played basketball as a kid, my line was generally: 3 periods played (some reason they played 5 in kids stuff by me), 5 fouls (fouled out), 5 points, 3 rebounds, 5 turnovers.

The refs at my level are great, and I feel I do a very good job reffing. I worked a table at one of the Boarder Wars tournaments (a tournament run by MSU coaches and we work them), and we had this one ref who probably had never really wrestled before. He said it was his first tourny, and asked me and our 125 pounder (the kid I was working the table with) a bunch of stuff; about slamming, back points, illegal chicken wings. During the tournament, one match on our mat got f***ed up. We had the score right at the table from what he was rewarding and said was right, me and the 125 pounder had the same exact thing, there was just about a fight between the two coaches and it got pretty bad. The same kid f***ed the same type of thing up on the other mat he was working, and there was some pushing and so on between coaches. BTW, the kids were about twelve years old.
