No no, the Marlins have a few players, Conine and Lowell, who arn't super quick. They also don't have a DH, so that's one of our guys right there. We won't get Pierre, no way no how. He's cheap, and the Marlins did all of that work with the Hampton deal, and he was the biggest thing they got out of it. We do need a quick CF. Roberts had some injuries this year, and I am not sure how old he is. How about Alex Sanchez of the Tigs? He is very fast, and could become a very good defensive CF. I wouldn't sign both Castillo and Alomar. Personally, I'd go for Castillo, unless Alomar is significantly cheaper. I'd keep Everett to DH. Trade Frank, Kong, and maybe even Lee. Depends what we could get back. We need speed and guys who can play small ball, those our biggest offensive needs.

I still think the Texans beating the Dolphins is the biggest upset. The Packers lost to a Vikings team that has had a pretty soft schedule so far. Also Driver and Ferguson have been hurt. That is a huge upset, but Carr wasn't even sacked in the game. The Dolphins were supposed to be huge contenders with the addition of Junior Seau.

You want Marte to try to be our 5th starter? Could he do it? I have no idea what any those numbers after his name mean. I think I'd like Marte out of the pen. He's a stud reliever.

If he could catch, why didn't we get him in there. That would have got his lefty bat in lineup, and he would have got more playtime. I saw LeCroy catch vs the Tigs yest, he isn't exactly what you would think of a catcher. We should have tried it once, atleast.

Ya can't help but feel bad for the guy. It didn't help that when he did play, he struggled. I hope he goes back to Boston and prospers.

Seems like your in the mood to cut alot of money. If we lose that many high priced players, we will sign an impact player. Guzman really isn't a huge impact player.

Click on the little button to the left below your image avatars. There is two of them but click on the one thats on the left. Why does it say I am not allowed to use that type of file? Where does it have to be out of?

C:\Documents and Settings\Steven\My Documents\My Pictures\Marte.bmp I get that next to the browse box. What do I do after I get that?

Yeah, I go to browse, and the writing of where it is show up next to the browse box. But, it always says error, plus nothing is labeled. After I click browse, what should I click next?

Never. If the Cubs do well, I will never, and I repeat never, hear the end of it. In ten years, my friends who are Cubs fans will still bring this season up. I hope they crash and burn just like we did.
