As much as I hate to say it, why don't we take someone else's wasted money? Look how that turned out for the Cubs. They got two contributers for Hundley. It could burn us, but I wouldn't mind seeing Daubach given the spot to play everyday, and get a guy like Kendall or something.

If your looking at 2010, wouldn't you be looking at Sandy Alomar and Guillen. I can see Alomar, but what ties does Girardi have to the Sox. I would think Guillen would have a shot, seems to be doing well in Florida, and Alomar should be a coach in our system then.

I think all of these guys have shown some heart. I would pick Danny, but he may have just had a bad year. I think it is more our everyday players who show no heart. Our pitchers haven't disapointed me with heart this year.

Actually, at my school, they take the best of two scores from the PSAT's and the SAT's. I grew up in Chicago suburbs, and I never even had to take PSAT's. I had to take PLAN test soph year then ACT junior year. Only the smart kids, for lack of better words, had to take the PSAT's.

I know Bowden, the football coach, said that players were payed before he got there. I know Bo Jackson was interviewed about it and said... "People ask me, Bo, did Auburn ever pay you to play?" Jackson told ESPN.com on Friday. "And I say no, they didn't, since they didn't. But if they did pay me, do you think I'd be stupid enough to tell you?" Frank would have been there around the time Bo, wouldn't he? Sure sounds like Bo is a moron, even if he didn't get paid.

Has anyone else heard about all the recent rumors that Auburn athletes got paid to go to Auburn? I know basketball and football are getting investigated, what about baseball? Could Thomas have gotten paid. I think he would have been there around the time that the players were getting paid. Any thoughts?

I took the ACT once. Got me a 26. I was happy with that. I knew it would get me into most of the schools I was interested in, so I was happy. When I got to Michigan State for a tour, they said the tests where not the first thing they looked for. GPA was the biggest thing. Then if your grades have been improving over the years. They looked down on people who had A's at beginning of high school, then went to B's, and ended in C's. I never even thought to take the SAT. It wasn't needed.

Hockey may be hard. I know nothing about hockey either. I think you could do a off-season Chicago sports and a place for people to say anything. During the season it is different, but how much can you really talk about with the Sox in December?

Sure the Phins had a bad game vs the Texans. But, they shut down the attack of the Bills, who had been torching teams. Bledsoe had like 60 yards going into the 4th quarter. Granted, they didn't have Travis Henry, but they are a good team getting used to Seau being there.

That's really messed up. I learned about all of that last year in school. It is too bad for the girl. The father hopes it has girls who are considering abortion talk to their families. How about has people deciding not to have sex when they are 17 and 18 years of age. Abortions arn't even going to have a little change because of this. How many teenagers do you think really watch the news or read CNN? I am willing to bet not as many as you'd think. Sadly, there will probably be problems just like this in the future.

I think they won't do anything next season, especially if Beltran escapes. They can't keep all the guys. Beltran kept them in it for awhile, is he not an FA this year or next. He's bigger than Sweeney because of Sweeney's back.

That all is absolutely right. It's funny how he is hoping some of our guys are gone next year, wait, just like we are. I could careless about second or third place now, it doesn't really do much. JR probably already knows what he wants to do with the team next year.

I think he just basically said stuff we already knew. The payroll issues just show how we need to get rid of several high price players. I am not sure Everett is the right guy to leave. I think Castillo would be better than Alomar, his speed and he would be a good leadoff hitter.

I think leadership would be his best quality. He's 38 years old. He isn't near the player he used to be. He has been hurt alot recently. I would try to get him if the price is right, but no way on Earth I'd overpay.

Why would you hate a guy who got us 19 wins this year? He pitched really well for most of the season. What did you expect from Loaiza at the beginning of the season? I expected about an 8-8 record. He sure made me happy.
