  1. ND

But look at who they beat. They did beat Wazzou who is ranked right now and will be higher after crushing Oregon. ND should have lost to Wazzou, but still. They just haven't any offense. They would kill N'Western and Indiana, and give good games to most the other teams. No was a freshman QB will beat the Big Tenn powerhouses though.
  2. What did he do in the first game?
  3. The only problem with the Maxim pictures is the writing. I like pictures which say nothing on them, sometimes name is fine, but there is too much writing on 'em.
  4. Good movie. John Candy is a funny man.
  5. Yeah, it was Arnason. I like him. I went to three games last year, one of them was preseason. They were pretty cool. I don't follow much hockey, but it's fun to watch the playoffs. That sucks that Nikolishin is gone, he was my fav guy on the team. I just hope they do good, why can't we be like the Wild or Ducks were last year?
  6. Didn't ya hear the whole thing about Carl saying the young guys who haven't been up here long can have his share of the money he will get from the season for finishing second. He shows heart and I think the young guys will look at him as an example on the field.
  7. I am going to go with Billy Koch. He sucked this year, but I loved how he could joke about it. I also love how he just goes up there and flings it. I liked him years ago on the Blue Jays. I think he will be back next year. He isn't the best Sox closer ever, nowhere near, but that's not the question here.
  8. Never heard of any of them. How about Daze, Thibault, that rookie center they had, and Nikolishan (sp?).

Cheat off other kids when you get to class. That's always a good way to find out something you don't know.
  10. f***ing Sweeney. Ya had to go and ruin it for Bart.
  11. How the hell's it scary? I have never seen any gobblins or ghouls there.
  12. I think Thomas has a mutual option with a preset price, I don't know the price off the top of my head though. Valentin, I have know idea what we will do with him, personally I don't want him back. Sure he's great in the clubhouse, but he isn't that good anymore. Alomar would probably want more than he is worth. Maybe 6 million for 3 years so 18 million total, way too much for a guy on the downslope. Everett will want a lot. Colon will get a lot, and not from the White Sox. Graffi won't be expensive. It is $6 million if he exercises it, $8 million if we exercise it, and if neither of us exercise it he is a FA.
  13. That atleast puts a smile on my face. It would be great to see Bart pitch a no-no, but it would be mightily overshadowed. Sox can hit now they are out can't they.
  14. Only teams in baseball I like all didn't make the playoffs. Now it's cheering for the lesser of two evils.

No, I think they should get an invitation to play in one of the BCS bowls.

Decent, not greatly tough. Don't get me wrong, those are good teams, but I take it they don't play any ranked teams the rest of the year.
  17. Arn't the Cubs "Chicago's Sweathearts?"
  18. Why no draft picks? I think we'll offer them some type of contract.
  19. Overcelebrate it the Cubs fans will, then never let it go that they made the playoffs and we didn't. It's only going to get worse now.
  20. I voted for the Red Sox. I couldn't overlook Martinez, Lowe, Burkitt, and Wakefield. They are going to be tough. The A's would have it with Zito, Mulder, and Hudson. But it's Zito, Hudson, and Harden. That's still tough, but Harden is not Mulder. As for the Cubs, Prior and Zambrano are only ones I'd be worried to face even a little. No playoff expierence, I believe Wood does, and maybe the innings are getting to them.
  21. I would think they'd love Koch to go with their collection of misfit closers; Mesa and Williams.
  22. Damn Astros, they couldn't help. This sucks. f*** the Cubs. :fthecubs
  23. ALDS Red Sox - 3, A's - 1 Twins - 3, Yankees - 2 NLDS Braves - 3, Cubs - 1 Marlins 3, Giants - 2 ALCS Twins - 4, Red Sox - 2 NLCS Braves - 4, Marlins - 1 World Series Braves - 4, Twins - 2
