  1. Jay Leno = Classy Guy Jay's 2004 Announcement - watch more funny videos
  2. Kimmel impersonating Leno is probably the greatest thing I've ever seen him do. Some great stuff from all of the late night hosts...except Leno of course. Late Night Controversy
  3. Whenever I think of Jay Leno, I think of Bill Hicks great bit about him.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 12:34 PM) She is hot. I believe Bones was the one who always had pictures of her in his avatar or sig. Yeah, that was me. Good memory. Ah...the old hot chick contest days. Not as crazy about her as I used to be but these are some very nice pics.
  5. No need for me to vent, I'm the Soxtalk League 1 Champion!
  6. QUOTE (zenryan @ Dec 6, 2009 -> 02:20 PM) Boise would get waxed by any of the BCS teams. Like Oregon, for instance?
  7. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 08:32 PM) That definition is so general it could include virtually anything, like sex You might be onto something here. Competitive sex. I think that would get some pretty good ratings.
  8. QUOTE (T R U @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 03:47 AM) You're wrong because its my f***ing opinion. End of discussion. Great retort. You could also have the opinion that the earth was flat and you would still be wrong. The definition of a sport is a "physical activity engaged in for pleasure" or "a particular activity (as an athletic game) so engaged in". Also, it makes no mention of anyone having to play defense or stop someone from reaching their objective. Therefore, golf is a sport.
  9. No Clash and no Pixies = massive fail Also, were females not allowed on this list or what? Y'all are sexist! At least, I think I had a few female rockers on my list with a few more just missing the cut. Anyways, great job with the list knight! Not the greatest selection in my opinion but I guess that's what you get when there's only 24 lists and it's just asking for personal favorites, not greatest or most influential.
  10. You are wrong. Check a dictionary. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sport End of discussion.
  11. QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Nov 20, 2009 -> 10:04 AM) Exactly. I liked it.
  12. The Beasties made it! If they hadn't, I'm tellin' y'all it would've been a sabotage!
  13. QUOTE (Felix @ Nov 19, 2009 -> 11:50 PM) Gophers beat Utah Valley 76-51 tonight. We played like s*** for the majority of the game, but still managed to get a 15 point victory. Rodney Williams continued his great start to his rookie campaign, and Colton Iverson continued to be awful. Unfortunately, he's going to keep getting minutes until Mbwake and White get their legal issues settled. Do they teach math at Minnesota?
  14. Ohio State looks like s***. How stupid can you be not holding for the last shot of the half?
  15. I would think the Stones would be up near the top?
  16. I think Bowie and Modest Mouse are the only two that made my top 20 so far. I can't believe Bowie is so low on the list and only three people voted for him. Anyways, it's good to see Modest Mouse made it. The Moon & Antarctica is one of my favorite albums.
  17. Okay, I hate Notre Dame with a passion, but they got screwed on that last call big time. And I'm not sure it would have mattered because it was gonna be 4th and 16 anyways but still. And I don't think it would have been reviewed in the first place if ND doesn't call a timeout.

    Films Thread

QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 08:41 AM) Okay so instead of bumping the thread of the year I will post this here. "Precious" was an excellent movie. The acting really got me with it and I actually enjoyed it more than my girl did . I will still never watch a Tyler Perry comedy but his drama's I will give a chance cause it was just that well made IMO. This is probably because Tyler Perry had almost nothing to do with the making of Precious.
  19. Uh...this was so difficult. I'm not even sure if my #1, the Beastie Boys, counts as a Rock band. Also, I doubt that half of the artists on my list even make the cut.
  20. Go Angels! I'm rooting for an All-LA World Series but I'll be happy as long as the Yankees don't win it all.
  21. The Office tonight was one of the best in a long time. The co-manager story arch looks like it should work much, much better than the horrible Michael Scott Paper Company idea last year. I also like when they keep the episode inside of the office. Looks like next week is the wedding. The preview just reminded me of all the classic episodes from season 1-3 ("The Dundies" "Booze Cruise" "Casino Night"). I don't think it will ever get back to being as consistently good as it was then but tonight's episode gave me hope that it won't be as ridiculously over-the-top as it was for much of season 4 and 5. Also, when's Todd Packer coming back? I would pay to see him crash Pam's wedding.
  22. So, I know that nobody cares about the emmys, including me, but I was glad to see Michael Emerson and Kristin Chenoweth both win last night.
