Haha, what the hell were you gonna do? Start him and not get any points if he doesn't play? or bench him and not get any points for not having a rb?

    Who's your backup?
  4. Prediction: Illinois' offense finally breaks out against a division 1A oppenent, Cal, in the first Illini game I will be attending this year. If it doesn't I'm gonna be pissed.
  5. AL: A's and Red Sox. :fyou yankees and twins! NL: Florida Marlins...if they make it. This is a fun team to watch, they do everything that the Sox don't.
  6. These predictions are sad, this team has definitely underachieved. I haven't been a Manuel-hater and I know that all the fault is not his, but he has to go. We need a fresh face to give this team a personality. I give the sox credit for coming back in the second half, I gave up on them at the end of May until the stretch against the twins and cubs. But it was too little too late.
  7. Mine's gotta be "The Contest" when they see who can go the longest without pleasuring themselves. or "The Outing" when the story gets out that George & Jerry are gay..."not that there's anything wrong with that." Hilarious!
  8. Mine's gotta be "The Contest" when they see who can go the longest without pleasuring themselves.

  13. That means the odds must be in our favor, right? Of course they have been for years.
  14. The Tex... excuse me, the Texa... HOUSTON beat Dave & the Dullfins. You know the team that didn't even exist two years ago.
  15. This is to offset the threads started by bmr. http://www.baseball-reference.com/postseas...n/1917_WS.shtml
  16. Definitely nothing having to do with Iowa State, then we'd suck!
  17. Name: Matt Holaway a.k.a. Bones R. McKrackin Position: WR Height: 6'1''-6'2" Weight: 150...feel free to make me bigger so I don't get injured all the time Number: 6 Specialty: Hands Pretty sweet idea!
  18. I'm actually excited to see the sox go up against some of the top teams...honestly. What is the sox record when there are big crowds at the park? It has to be much better than when there aren't. They won on Monday & Tuesday, both half-price nights with larger crowds, then lost on Wednesday & Thursday, a non-promotion night and a day game. Before that at New York they took 2 out of 3 with large crowds as always in the Bronx. They swept KC at Kauffman when they were drawing good crowds. Don't forget the 4 of 6 against the Cubs which were all huge crowds and 2 of 3 in LA where the Dodgers have good crowds. We all know they got swept by Detroit earlier in the year in the middle of that 3-7 road trip to TB, Detroit, and Cleveland, three teams that do not have particularly large crowds. These are the teams we're going to face in the playoffs, if we can beat them and get in, so this is good for us. If we can't beat them we don't deserve to be in, I don't want to see us go 3 and out anyways. But if we can beat them and get in, we'll have confidence and momentum going into the playoffs and anything can happen. Besides, how often are the sox in a pennant race this late in the season? We're tied for 1st on September 12th. I'm gonna enjoy it while it's here. If we lose, we're losing to the best, I'd rather see that than us stumble into the playoffs against subpar teams and get embarrassed.
  19. When does it count? The games at the beginning of the year count the same as games at the end of the year you win, it counts a win, you lose, it counts as a loss. You're really starting to sound ridiculous. Quit while you're behind.
  20. Falcons 49ers Chiefs Titans Jets Ravens Packers Saints Bills Buccaneers Seahawks Chargers Raiders Eagles Vikings Giants
  21. Not that it's as bad as the sox losing today, but it doesn't help me feel any better.
