  1. btw, tix are $20 downstairs tonight. and $24 all weekend. no excuse on price, at least this week.
  2. meanwhile, a hack job by the cub times (and a wsi contributor): http://www.suntimes.com/sports/15380578-57...ric-levels.html
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 09:44 PM) I knew it would be down this year due to season ticket numbers, but I'm shocked/bewildered at HOW low it is. If payroll drops again next year, we have no right to complain. it's not that far off 2011. especially when u factor in the lower expectations
  4. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 07:18 PM) i'm surprised they don't have better attendance numbers Teams experience a sales bump AFTER a big year. See 2006 white sox.
  5. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 12:23 PM) Feel that playoff excitement! Playoffs or not, the indians in september is a hard sell.
  6. Hey, There are still tix on sale. They opened up huge blocks in the upper deck, and I just got some CLUB LEVEL for game 1. Game 1 has mostly uppers available Game 2 has uppers Game 3 has all levels Wild Card Game has a lot of tix avail in all levels
  7. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 21, 2012 -> 10:53 AM) You have access to codes for other teams or just the Sox?yankees are up on sale if you have a mastercard.
  8. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 21, 2012 -> 07:12 AM) Any STH willing to help me out in the presale this morning? Looking for 2 or 4 tickets to ALDS Game 1 or 2. 118911 is the code
  9. QUOTE (SnB @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 10:02 AM) Sure looks like there's a ton of presales for everyone to gobble up the tix before the general public. I'm already expecting to pay a bit of a premium for the tix on stubhub anyway. Stubhub has uppers in the 60's
  10. Dynamic deals are good at the box office without a code. The tix the last week of the year have been marked down for outfield sections. No code needed. Www.whitesox.com/pricing will have more details
  11. QUOTE (SexiAlexei @ Aug 29, 2012 -> 01:17 PM) This really irritates me. I bought tickets to the Detroit series, and 2 weeks before the series starts, tickets are discounted even further? Why would I as a Sox fan want to buy tickets in advance these days? i've been posting the codes for the detroit series for months now. if you got the tourism offer, then you're doing better than the dynamic deal.
  12. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 6, 2012 -> 04:47 PM) I question the motive of the person on WSI who originally posted this. If, as he claimed, he got the rumor from "a friend who works at WSCR" and the station didn't deem it worthy to report it, then it wasn't meant to be revealed to the public. Why would someone who claims to be a Sox fan rush to report an unsubstantiated rumor that would cast a negative light on the team, cause a big distraction and personally hurt one of the team's best players during a pennant race? And WSI didn't even ban the guy for even a week for doing it. It really makes them look bad, especially since they are known for banning and censoring posters for holding the "wrong view" or not being PC in the way they express their views. WSI's credibility took a big hit by being the source of this bulls*** rumor. WSI has fallen on hard times indeed. The reason why they dont allow the discount codes for tickets is because a little baby cried that I posted the pre-sale code to DumpJerry. So the unwashed masses wonder why tickets are too x-pensive and guys like me cant show them how to save coin while going. Also, Daver is a total jackass. The reason I dont post there anymore is that HE insulted me, and I "reported" his post. He took umbrage, and had me banned. When i asked "wtf"?", he made it a lifetime ban.
  13. QUOTE (Cali @ Sep 6, 2012 -> 03:35 PM) So basically if you don't go to school or work at a company that offers email you're f***ed. Haha. What's funny is that I'm sure I could log in to my old account there and it'd work, but my old yahoo email address is tied to the account I'm sure. Obviously they grandfathered people in. They probably have to since that board is filled with bitter old men whos email addresses are probably aol, compuserve or Netscape anyway haha aol addresses are allowed. as that's still a pay format(although not many pay, but since it's an option...)
  14. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 08:26 AM) But they are not in hand. Those are season holders anticipating having them, but they won't be delivered until later this month. but 100% guaranteed. buyer gets full refund if the sox fail to make the ALDS.
  15. QUOTE (schien4 @ Sep 4, 2012 -> 09:05 AM) Hello everybody! I'm a new White Sox fan. This is my first time living in Chicago. As a sports fan, it is really hard to choose to be a north side or south side. Fortunately, I would rather stay with a team which always wins. As the offseason coming, I really wanna buy a tickets for ALDS. Any body has any idea that when should I buy the tickets and what the price should be? My first choice is 300 level. I hope the price can be under 130. Good luck to everybody! GO SOX! http://www.whitesox.com/tickets is your friend
  16. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Sep 4, 2012 -> 09:27 AM) Where do most of you buy your tickets for games? I wanted to get some tickets for the Detroit series next week. http://www.whitesox.com/tourism

  18. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 10:12 PM) I see $9 and $20 on the dynamic pricing list...but close enough I guess. Sox fans aren't making up their minds on that Detroit series until that week. So the "excuse" could be "they're 4 games out of first." http://www.whitesox.com/soxsave is a different offer. the dynamic deals are in the "s***ty" sections.
  19. QUOTE (joeynach @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 11:04 AM) j hj I really dislike the view from the UD, for all sporting events. It was fine when I was a kid or teen, but now I cant see what I want to see from the UD. I dont like the viewing angle, the appearance of the game play at that scale. I want to see the break of the pitches and movement in/out of the zone, I want to see the reactions of players and coaches and umpires, I want to see the flight path of the ball, I want to hear the thud of the bat and pop of the catchers mit, sounds from the field, and things the players say/scream. I find that experience is not possible in the UD. Even if I was offered free UD tickets to a regular game I wouldnt go. Sitting on my couch with that 52" HD TV and my Twitter feed open interacting with Chicago Sports Media during the game is much more enjoyable than watching players look like ants from row 12 of the UD. Lower Deck Im there anyday, even the outfield is great with that nice big concourse to hang out for a bit and stretch out, grab a drink, always run into a friend, and still see the game....such a better experience! And how do you feel about the lower corners? or section 164/100 when you get past the first 8 rows, and the view is obstructed?
  20. QUOTE (My_Sox_Summer @ Aug 13, 2012 -> 09:57 PM) Guy wants $90. I'll pass on that. Stub Hub has tix for $23 with the fees. Do you think the "TAKEJAKE" code will work for 8/22? Not working now. My birthday is 8/20, we'll see what I get for that. Ha. the vouchers he's selling donot allow you to redeem for yankees games. i asked for a better scan and read the fine print. as for 8/22, use BULLS
