He has one career plate appearance against RHP as a RH batter. What makes you assume he can hit RHP as a RH batter? All of his RH splits are against lefties.

Baseball has been in the forefront of hiring executives from non baseball backgrounds and it has seemed to work well. I like the idea. He's in charge of overseeing the entire organization, not hand choosing the 53 man roster. Plus, the Browns have had zero luck hiring football guys anyway, might as well think outside the box.
