I am in no way a big fan of Eaton, but even I'd admit that it just seems silly to trade him right now given the lack of OF options in the organization.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 11:05 PM) Between the Mets, Royals, and Blue Jays, who do you guys want to see win it all? Go Canada. Last year I was very anti KC because it felt like such a fluke, but they proved it again this year, so I prefer the Mets, but it's not a big deal if KC wins.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 10:01 PM) Don't take advice from littlehurt I didn’t know he'd get 5 at bats, that's a game changer

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 09:12 PM) It's funny. When Maddon played KB and Schwarber in the outfield I was like how the hell can they get away from that unscathed? If sox did that there'd be outfield bloopers galore. But baseball always evens out in long run. Totally. I don't remember hearing about Schwarber making any errors during the regular season, now he's worse than Viciedo

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 08:45 PM) Awful ABs by the cubs. Mets bats seem to be in the victory formation already

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 07:23 PM) Hey guys I actually put the money up. Your welcome. My wife is a Cubs fan so I didn't say it aloud, but my only thought was "If he doesn't get Cespedes out here, Duda will make it 3-0"
-
Lucas Duda homers today. And Murphy doesn't. Bet those home run props

ALCS- Kansas City Royals vs Toronto Blue Jays

Both teams seem to be set up with their best pitchers, depending on if their aces can stop sucking.. Ventura vs Price Cueto vs Stroman -
QUOTE (Dunt @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 03:01 PM) Did anybody see this one today: "Playoffs are not a representation of how good teams are, Cubs still best team in playoffs" Maybe, but if you want a trophy for that go join a European soccer league. This is America, no one cares who the best team is, all that matters is who wins the tourney at the end.

QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 02:51 PM) Refresh my memory. Why did the 2004 Red Sox come back? Wasn't the Yankee pitching staff garbage? Game 4 - Mariano Rivera blown save, extra extra inning magic for Red Sox Game 5 - Flash Gordon/Rivera blown save, extra extra inning magic for Red Sox Game 6 - Schilling > Lieber Game 7 - Kevin Brown & Javy Vazquez suck, game was over in 1st inning

QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 09:21 AM) Ron Darling was on the score this morning saying Cub fans should be happy because their team will be good for the next 5-6 year window. They definitely should be good. I just think people should be cautious with the "year ahead of schedule" confidence. The Nationals are prime example of how much can go wrong in baseball. The Cubs' hitters should be solid, but we will see how their pitching plays out. Even if they acquire top arms, that doesn't also work out as planned.

QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 08:03 AM) On the radio just now, people have come back from 3-0 before!!!!! Not just anybody. It was Theo in the LCS, against New York, to end a long WS drought. What people seem to forget is that Yankees rotation was trash, nothing like Matz/Harvey/Thor/DeGrom

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 21, 2015 -> 07:45 AM) Im sure he is a healthy scratch. Because that totally makes sense in a pitching needy team, to scratch Mark Buehrle I know you can't trust everything they tell the media, but all these quotes make it seem as if they only wanted to use him as a starter, and he wasn't one of the best 4 options. I know Dickey got rocked yesterday, but in his last 11 home starts, he had given up 3 runs or less each time. And batters had an .896 OPS vs. Mark in September/October. His struggles are probably injury related though. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/buehr...-different-way/ -
Loved the quiet subtle fist bump by the Mets couple

He's been calling that low strike all day

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 20, 2015 -> 09:36 PM) Hate pulling DeGrom I bet he might have hinted that he's a bit gassed
-
Mets might wanna swing at the first pitches to end the game before the rain comes

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 20, 2015 -> 09:07 PM) We tried a tree in CF when Griffey Jr came over ***golf clap***

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Oct 20, 2015 -> 08:28 PM) Hendricks already done. Maddon living by the "3rd time through the order" numbers. Hendricks looked decent in the 4th

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Oct 20, 2015 -> 07:30 PM) Depending on the wind, this place can be Coors or Petco. Take out the wind and it is no band box. It's a big outfield. For some reason it was a pitchers park all summer, then the wind blowing out kicked in during September
-
I have a feeling we see big fat Bartolo Colon at some point today. They are gonna make deGrom work.

QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 20, 2015 -> 07:08 PM) Baez with another uh no. I thought he was decent with the glove? He has been dreadful

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 20, 2015 -> 04:00 PM) I could see this KC squad lighting up a sore shoulder Buehrle just as easy as they did to Dickey As hot as Dickey had been at home, he was the right choice, s*** happens in baseball. Buehrle could have been perfect to pitch a few middle relief innings now to limit the damage, but Hendriks has been fine so far.
