  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 08:57 PM) It's game 1, guys. Kings and Hawks are not making the playoffs, Canucks or Sharks are going to the Stanley Cup Finals. #Day1HotTakes
  5. My Cubs fan buddy going to the Hawks game with me already said he is drinking heavily and heading straight to the concourse TVs as soon as the banner ceremony ends. Fun for me.
  6. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 10:33 AM) So they're sacrificing OF defense to get LaStella's bat into the lineup? What? They are sacrificing OF defense to improve IF defense for a ground ball pitcher, while keeping their best bats in the lineup.
  7. This explains the Rasmus situation well:
  8. Champagne celebration after winning the WC game? C'mon man!
  9. And once again A-Rod is the most popular Yankee
  10. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 6, 2015 -> 03:18 PM) Yeah they travel well for playoffs and to places like Nashville. It's more of a shot against the nhl. Kris Bryant for example, a rookie of just a couple months, is more known nationally than Patrick Kane, the most popular player on a 3 time Stanley winning team. You just wouldn't get that idea in Chicago, but that could change soon. That was my point This is so true, it's funny to experience. For 6+ years, the entire city of Chicago revolves around the Blackhawks during the playoffs. You just assume everyone knows about the Hawks. Then you talk to people in other cities, they don't even know the hockey playoffs are happening.
  11. YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD!!!! YES!!!! Seriously though, only doing road games is weird. Why doesn't he just do home games and get a hotel room downtown?
  12. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 5, 2015 -> 09:06 AM) The talent downgrade happened in the offseason, last year his offense was pretty intact from the super bowl team and he looked just like this. The NFL figured him out, they force him to do things that make him uncomfortable, and he makes mistakes. He has zero touch on his passes and it hurts him badly If he had a little more touch on his passes, they win the Super Bowl vs. Baltimore. That last pass in the end zone was all on him.
  13. Could the Art Briles Baylor 5 wide offense work in the NFL? I always figured the pro rosters were too talented top to bottom, so it was much harder to find a weakness. Teams have adopted the spread, but nowhere near that agressively.
  14. The NL game should be a pitchers duel, but after what the Cardinals keep doing to Kershaw, it will probably be 8-7. Baseball, man. And I hope A Rod hits 3 homers in the other game
  15. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 06:29 PM) Yeah would much rather be Rams or Texans they are going to the Super Bowl. I agree with your point. The Rams "won" the RG3 trade because of all the talented they drafted, yet they are the team with zero playoff appearances since, the Redskins at least got a home playoff game . Finding a QB is a priority
  16. Download My Fitness Pal app. Set it for losing 2 to 3 pounds a week and track every single calorie going in and out. If you want to jump start it, do a 3 day juice cleanse before. It helps you get on the healthy train and cuts some lbs in the process.
  17. QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 04:31 PM) 9-2 Rangers. Ok that's it for that game. The Angels are paying Josh Hamilton to knock them out of the playoffs
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 1, 2015 -> 09:39 PM) Temple -22.5 Wazzu +17.5 Oregon -7.5 3-0!
  19. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 04:03 PM) John Fox had me perplexed today. Why down 2 do you not go for 2? And why with your kick coverage, do you call timeout with 7 seconds left which guarantees a kickoff if you get the lead? Judging from Twitter reactions the past month, these type of decisions seem to be the norm with him. In game decisions and agressive play calling are not his specialty it would appear.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 03:13 PM) Well at least they're not going 0-16. They did face maybe the 3 best teams in the NFC to start the season. They are no playoff team, but they will win a few more with Jay healthy.
  21. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 02:13 PM) Mark doesn't seem like the type of guy that would want to do that though. He also didn't seem like the type of guy who would pitch two innings on one days rest for an arbitrary record, but here he goes.
  22. Is Fox always this conservative? Go for the touchdown!
  23. That's why you don't make your backup center inactive on game day.
  24. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Oct 3, 2015 -> 09:41 PM) I feel like they are more disciplined without Beckman. If Cubit somehow gets to 7-5 or 8-4 before a bowl game, I think you have to take the interim tag off him and make him the permanent head coach. I would like them to at least put fliers out for the "hot" candidates, but yeah, I'd have no issues with Cubit in that situation. Given all the drama, it's not easy to get college kids focused and ready to play every week.
