QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 02:21 PM) I'd like to discuss the saucer pass from Oduya to Kaner yesterday some more.  It doesn't get much prettier than that.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 04:36 PM) Stephen Bardo takes to Twitter today to say the cops overreacted to the Darius Paul situation (ignoring the resisting arrest part of the story) and that it only happened because Champaign is a racist town. Well done Bardo. Way to get a fan base to turn on you in a split second. The type of people that will turn on him aren't relevant to the program anyway. -

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 11:49 AM) Versteeg is an absolute dead spot int he lineup. He is bringing zero to the table. Morin needs to get in the lineup ASAP. Is Coach Q the only person in Chicago who doesn't think Morin should replace Versteeg?

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 11:10 AM) I assume Beckham is not batting third. Beckham hitting 8th, everyone in between moved up a spot. -

QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 10:04 AM) Updated lineup has Beckham at 2b and Semien at 3b Gillaspie was scratched because he can still barely grip a bat this morning. I don't know why they didn't check on that before they put him in the original lineup. -
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 23, 2014 -> 04:04 PM) They did it again today, but there were 5 walks in this one too. Aaron Harang needs to be drug tested

5 of the 8 Bears home games are Nov 16 or later and there are two December night games, that sucks. -
Just got home, love these early start times. Nice to take the game back after blowing the two goal lead, but they really need to do something about those period ending goals. Nearly half of the Blues goals have come in the final two minutes of a period. Lol @ Fleury, but the Penguins can't be surprised, he did it last year too

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 23, 2014 -> 09:51 AM) I like the 11am games so I can wake up and watch them (well not so much anymore) but the fanbase at the game suffers and so does conference exposure. Many of the new coaches are pushing hard for night games and it appears to be paying off. Of course you need to have lights to get it done. ILL vs OSU is a primetime night game this year. I'm still confused by that one, no one will be watching the second half. -
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 23, 2014 -> 09:33 AM) Kings dominated overtime, SJ comes down and gets once "chance" and scores a fluke goal to win it. I wanted the Kings to win just to make it a 2-1 series. Can't say I expected the Kings to give up 17 goals in 3 games.

Do you think Paulie would retire midseason?
LittleHurt05 replied to Buehrle>Wood's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I have to give Robin & company major credit for the way they have handled the 1B/DH playing time situation. I was one of the biggest critics of the PK signing because I was worried about Abreu's development being stunted. While they said all the right things in the offseason and spring training, I was still worried that the Jerry nostalgia factor would override common sense. Currently the Sox best interests are served by giving Abreu & Dunn the most playing time possible and that is what is happening. -
QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Apr 23, 2014 -> 01:38 AM) Anyone know of any ideas for booking cheaper airfare/hotels to Vegas than the typical Priceline, Expedia, etc.? Spirit Airlines is very cheap if you give up all rights as a human being.

Pujols with career homers 499 and 500 tonight. He's not dead yet, leads the league in dingers so far.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 22, 2014 -> 10:29 AM) That is a really unflattering photo. He looks like me before and dude was supposed to be a top pick and a really good athlete. Seriously. How was that guy in the first pic a first round NFL draft pick? -
The unseasonably warm weather this weekend led to 35+ shootings. Damn you Mother Nature, it's all your fault!
-
Besides the power play issues, the Hawks stars really need to get on the score sheet. Hossa - 0 points Sharp - 0 points Kane - 1 point
-
Way to play Corey, he stepped up huge. Need #10 & #81 to get on the board though. I'll be at the UC Wednesday night, should be fun.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 21, 2014 -> 09:20 PM) They are going to regret those goose eggs on the PP. It still amazes me that a PP unit with Toews, Kane, Sharp, Hossa, & Keith can be so inefficient.

Chris Sale to start Thu May 22 vs Yankees
LittleHurt05 replied to Feeky Magee's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Son of a b****. Hope it's not serious and just a precaution. Better to err on the side of caution then risk him in a year like this.
