  1. Q's BA has to be around .288 again, does it not?
  2. Can somebody post the June wallpaper? I accidently made something else my desktop background.
  3. QUOTE (ChiSox35 @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 04:49 PM) I love Farmer and Stone. That said, I'm tuning in to 720 AM so I could get my jollies. I could only imagine Ronny Ranto's call when Swish hit the granny... QUOTE (DABearSoX @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 04:49 PM) Has it started raining? Yes, the kind of rain in between drizzle and pouring. I think?
  4. QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 01:48 PM) Yeah I'd rather Bouwmeester to Campbell to be honest. And that's becaue he's younger, and is probably a better "defensive" defenseman than Campbell. Plus you trade say Barker, Skille and Lang plus a pick for him (just for an example), you've got room to go get Marion Hossa, and maybe a Rosival or Liles as well to sure up both the O and D. If there was a way to get Bouwmeester without giving up Barker though (using picks and prospects), DT should look into that. How about Skille, Ladd, and Havlat?
  5. What a catch by JD. Do the worm, Swish!! BTW- I hope it pooooours.
  6. QUOTE (Wanne @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 04:45 PM) You mean that aren't named ARod or Lowell?!? I'll believe that when I see it.... Which is why I said "should". A-Rod will get voted in, and chances are Francona will take Lowell.
  7. QUOTE (DABearSoX @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 04:43 PM) s***...let him rest his back instead Even if he declines the offer, I believe it still counts as an AS appearance.
  8. QUOTE (Wanne @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 04:42 PM) What's Crede?....1 for last 21?!? Pathetic. And still, he's lead AL third basemen in HR and RBI, which should get him a spot on the AS team.
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 04:37 PM) Serviceable doesn't cut it in the playoffs. Agreed. He'll be in the same role El Duque was used in, in 2005.
  10. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 03:26 PM) I don't know where they live. Remember Cuban baseball players usually flee to Latin or Central American countries. Does anyone know where home to him is now? Maybe the USA Maybe he's staying with Ozzie, Contreras, Pablo- any of the Latin players.
  11. Come on Jose, make some good pitches and throw some strikes.
  12. QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 09:39 AM) Rose is basically comparable to Deron Williams, and if he turns out to be anything close to that, Bulls fans' should be very happy. I'm surprised McHale would have offer Jefferson for the #1 though. Would they have taken Beasley I wonder if they ended up with that choice? As for the Mayo trade, I like what Memphis did there. Conley and Mayo in the back-court is a good mix. Makes you think what are they going to do with Crittendon and Lowry though. My guess is the latter is definitely on his way out, maybe to Denver. I don't like Love as a prospect, and Minny have basically 2 PF's now down low, but Mike Miller will be a good fit at SG/SF. Where did you see this? Plus, like you said, I think Rose is a mix of Paul and Williams. He's more explosive then Williams, like Paul, but he's a bigger type PG, like Williams.
  13. If we do these 3 things today, I'll be satisfied: 1. Drill Aramis Ramirez. 2. Score 2+ runs by racking up hits, not home runs. 3. Win. :fthecubs :fthecubs
  14. Bouwmeester wants out. Offer them next year's 1st, Skille, Barker, and Blunden. Go get him, DT!!
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 10:39 PM) Pax said Weems was traded. Does anybody know for what? CDR
  16. I thought for sure this was going to be a draft like 2004 (big Duke fan)- we take Gordon, then Deng from Duke, and then Duhon in the 2nd from Duke, except in this draft we'd go with Rose then CDR, both from Memphis.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 10:06 PM) CDR can't shoot for s***. Funny you say that- CDR was 8% better, shooting percentage wise, than Weems this past year.
  18. Why no CDR there? I bet Rose would have loved to talk them into it, except he was probably on a plane.
  19. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 08:44 PM) Chalmers to Houston, and Arthur to SA would seem to make sense. I wonder what Seattle does here, then. I'm going to guess Donte Green- they can use scoring on the inside and he is 6'9-6'11. Or not. They take Ibaka- a guy who yesterday, his agent sent out notices saying to not draft him in the 1st round because he's going to go play in Spain for 2-3 more years. DONTE GREEN, Seattle!!
  20. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 08:37 PM) Someone please draft Darell. I feel bad for him. I can definitley see him going to SA or HOU.
  21. I'd really like to see us take a shot at Bill Walker in the 2nd round- or DJ White, but I don't think White will be there.
  22. I watched McGee play at Hales Franciscan. Reminds me of a taller TT. Not so sure on him in the NBA...
  23. QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 08:05 PM) The Blazers are loaded now. Bayless and Roy in the backcourt and Oden to come back at C. They're gonna be good. Where did you see this Rush to IND for Bayless trade? EDIT- found it.
  24. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 07:01 PM) "The Blazers will send the rights to Rush and Jarrett Jack to the Pacers for the rights to Bayless and Ike Diogu. I think this is a great pick for the Pacers. Rush should be a great fit in the backcourt with T.J. Ford because he defends, shoots the ball and has great size in the backcourt. Rush is one of the most NBA-ready players in the draft." Where did you find this?
