  1. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 06:58 PM) i dont wanna sound like too big of a downer because i love rose's athleticism but here are a few reasons why i dont really love the pick..... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/leaders?grou...ts&sort=AVG #90 with the talent memphis had around him and playing in that conference? (to his credit he averaged about 3 fewer minutes than most the people at the top) 71% Free throw %...thats bad especially for a slasher who should get to the basket and draw fouls 34% 3 point %...thats also bad for a guard Besides teams with superstars like Boston and LA, what team made the playoffs without a true, good PG?
  2. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 06:41 PM) Udonis Haslem for Jamal Tinsley now? That might be interesting for both sides. Then who starts for the Pacers, Bayless or Ford?
  3. QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 06:35 PM) Well Indiana has their PG now. They just got TJ Ford (well, it's not official yet). Jason Thompson, this early?
  4. How about a Danks/Floyd split?
  5. Now let's go win the series vs the Scrubs.
  6. QUOTE (The Beast @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 04:53 PM) Are you serious? I happen to think the NFL has better officiating than the MLB. Have you ever seen Mike Carey officiate in a football game? He's great! Or Ed Hochuli? :
  7. If possible- key word IF- can we just get 1 more this inning.
  8. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:39 PM) Where id Gordon playing with Rose and Redd in the backcourt exactly? Off the bench. It's not like Rose will never be playing with Gordon/Redd or Deng/Gordon.
  9. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 04:40 PM) LOL, the dugout just rolling over Coop. Swish looks like he's gonna pee himself. Ozzie's son looked that way, also. I really hope we can get another run. Either way, I'm fine with a W.
  10. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:33 PM) I'd deal Hinrich and Tyrus for Redd in an instant. The open jumpers Deng, Gordon, and Redd would receive from Rose would be ridiculous. I don't think MIL does it though, since Skiles hates Tyrus. Fixed.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 04:27 PM) I just hate when you (Cooper) say stuff like "we're in first place, back off". And I couldn't agree more.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:53 PM) I disagree 100 pct with this. When a team gets a huge new practice facility and changes their uniforms just for you, you won't be going anywhere. Plus, Cleveland is right by his hometown of Akron. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 01:05 PM) Is there anyway that next week the Bulls have a backcourt of Rose and Redd? Because that would be awesome. It'd probably be Deng for Redd, or TT and Nocioni for Redd. Are you willing? QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:10 PM) I'd guess around 6:15. 6:35 is what I'm hearing.
  13. QUOTE (north side chi sox fan @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:35 PM) It would be cool if the AL swept the NL today... 4 night games left and unfortunately would need to root for Twins. I'll pass. I'll take the AL winning every game except 1.
  14. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:34 PM) I do and I must say I am getting a sadistic good feeling about it Agreed. Can we at least get 1 here? Yikes. It was bad enough we left Alexei on 2nd then 3rd earlier.
  15. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:14 PM) It would take more than that to get Bouwmeester. If we offered them Barker, Skille, and Lang, I'm not so sure how a team in re-build mode could decline 2 former top 7 picks and a 60 point veteran. Although, I would throw Blunden or Kontiola in there if needed.
  16. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:46 PM) I think a lot of it has to do with Jay-Z trying to make room to get Lebron in 2010. I can't believe I just typed that. I see no possible way LBJ leaves Cleveland. Now, I really want to see us make a push for the 2nd overall pick. How about- Deng, TT, Hinrich, and our 1st round pick next year for the #2 and Mark Blount. We'd get Beasley, and a 7'0 Blount who can get us 9 ppg and 3 rpg. He'd be a nice guy off the bench, IMO.
  17. Make that 8-0. Pujols is 4-4 in his 1st game back including the go-ahead RBI in the 9th- only for Detroit to tie it up and send it to the 10th.
  18. Great job getting out of jams by JD so far. What a play by him, and what a play by Lexi earlier...MERCY
  19. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 01:55 PM) Anyone think Guillen is giving Anderson a shot a doing something before possibly being sent down? A-lot easier to hit in front of Quentin than the pitcher. Also Wise will get the next two starts and then I believe Konerko can come off the DL Sunday against Mashall no? I think it is a mirror performance to last night as the bats were cold for a nice spell Tuesday and I think they will today as well against a leftie they have never faced. His ability and past history is no indication to what he is capable of....see last night. 6-1 Dodgers I heard PK won't be cleared until Monday. I guess it is a possibility, though.
  20. I really wouldn't mind Bouwmeester. If all it took was Blunden, Barker, and Lang, I'd do it in an instant. I might even take Lang out and put Skille or Hendry in there. It would be tough, mentally, to give up Barker and Skille already, but Bouwmeester, like you guys said, is still quite young and his best is ahead of him.
  21. QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 09:42 AM) 2 - Grizzlies - Beasley. They do the trade with Miami giving up Miller and Lowry and take Beasley. 3 - Heat - Mayo. They pull of a trade with Minny by giving up a future protected 1st to move up 2 spots to take their guy in Mayo. A lineup of Wade - Mayo - Miller - Marion - C with Lowry off the bench looks pretty good (if they wanted to go smallball). 5 - Wolves - Lopez. McHale takes the safe option and goes for the C after trading down. If Memphis was in the 2 spot, wouldn't they of had to trade with Miami, which would have given them the #2 and the Heat the #5? Instead, you have The Wolves at #5 and the Heat at #3. I'm taking it this is your idea of a 3 way trade possibility? QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 10:59 AM) i would melt As would I. I'm curious as to what it would take. Probably the Bulls next year's #1, TT, Hinrich, and Nocioni. Our lineup next year would then be: PG Rose SG Deng SF Beasley PF Noah C Gooden With no bench except Thabo.
  22. QUOTE (tommy @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 12:40 PM) Cabrera Anderson Quentin Dye Swisher Crede Ramirez Hall Danks Why not Wise? Anderson can't hit a LHP is his life depended on it. Oh well. Win!
