  1. God Bless Kyle Orton. Even in a game where he's only thrown 13 passes, his team still has 17 points. He inherited a team with a total beast of WR, a stud of a WR, a damn good defense, and a pretty f***ing good OL. Makes you wonder if Cutler is 2nd guessing himself...
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 10:08 PM) The Bears are also a few easy missed field goals by the opposition (something the Bears have no control over) from being 1-4. And you are really classy, btw. Do you read Larry Mayer's chalktalk on the Bears website? Mayer claims that one of Reed's misses were tipped, and one of Mare's was tipped.
  3. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 09:48 PM) Lets be honest, when you can't run the ball in from inches away you have all kinds of problems with your run blocking and your rb's. It ain't on Turner. How about this: 2 runs with Forte up the middle, and if worse comes to worse, on 3rd and 4th down, do 2 QB sneaks. If you can't gain 1/2 yard on 4 plays with a 225 pound RB and a 235 pound QB 2 times each, you don't deserve the 6 points anyway.
  4. I'm not usually a- "well he was good last year so try him again" guy, but it's time to give Beekman a shot.
  5. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 10:35 PM) It's hard to get a rhythm when the line is already penetrated by the time he gets the ball from Cutler. Unless you'd rather he run faster into the arms of DLs. There is nothing he can do with this pathetic run blocking he's getting. I'm agreeing. I just said that. But even when he has space, like on screens, he's dancing. On his fumble in the redzone, sure it was his fault, but why call a sweep play on 4th and 9 inches?
  6. Wow. Our 3rd round and 4th round picks better be OL next year, because this is ridiculous. Also, what has happened to Forte? Even when he gets space, he's running like a complete b****. Not Cutler's best game, but again, he had a helluva 2nd half. Next Sunday is a must win @ Cincy now.
  7. I'm been the biggest Cutler backer possible, but he's got to start to make these throws or learn to throw it away. Hester was doubled covered on his INT in the redzone and Olsen was wide open down the field.
  8. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 03:13 PM) Oh please, you're the same fool who was touting the Bills as legit AFC contenders last season. Im fairly certain you are 13-14 years old and have literally no clue what you are talking about. Anything you say to me, I will just ignore because I have never seen anything logical about sports come from any post you have ever made here. Yeah, and so was Warren Sapp, who I know is no genius, but that's beyond the point. The point is that they were what, 5-0, 6-1? Whatever. The Vikings are 5-0 and you're declaring them the best team. What's the difference? BRETT FAVRE IS DUDE!!!!!1 Right? And yeah, I'm 13. I'm pretty sure the whole NFL forum here is ripping your knowledge, maybe you're 12.
  9. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 02:05 PM) Im sorry I cant hear you over the chants of BRETT!!!! BRETT!!! BRETT!!! Sorry, I can't understand your argument. I never said that they wouldn't win the game, but maybe you just can't read. So let me try this: IF U R A GOOD TEAM U CANT LET TEAMS BACK IN THE GAME AT YOUR OWN STADIUM Get it now?
  10. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 03:02 PM) Is the game over, I cant see the time from where I am sitting?? No time right?? It doesn't matter. Why can't you understand this? If you're the best team in football, you don't let teams come back and almost win in your own stadium. Period. Do you see teams getting back in the game against the Saints or Colts?
  11. Good post daa. I'd take Indy over the Aints or Queens.
  12. For as much love as the Viqueens are getting by TRU, they really do like letting teams back in the game at home. That 49ers game without Gore, that Packers game only winning by 7, and now today, whether or not Baltimore wins.
  13. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 02:38 PM) While I dont think the Bears will franchise Ogun, I think it is insane to think he could be arguably the 4th best on the team. Mark Anderson has done absolutely nothing since his rookie year, Gaines Adams at this point is a huge bust and Alex Brown is above average and consistent. Brown and Ogun are head and shoulders above the other two guys. Adams has not been a huge bust. If he's a huge bust, what do you call Ryan Leaf? Adams has been productive but not as much as they would've hoped. He had 13.5 sacks in 29 starts, which isn't a bust.
  14. ND still has to play BC, Pittsburgh, UConn, and Stanford. I expect them to lose 1, maybe 2, of those games. If they lose 2 of them, Charlie is going to be sent packing. HE GONE
  15. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Oct 17, 2009 -> 08:22 AM) Why would he deserve anything close to top five money he could arguably be the Bears fourth best DE. Because he's on pace for something like 17-18 sacks this year.
  16. I think Wale stays with the franchise tag and Anderson leaves. Adams gets 1.75 seasons under Marinelli + tutoring from Ogunleye, and he's our #1 DE (if there's such thing) in 2011.
  17. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 15, 2009 -> 09:36 PM) Like everyone has said, Nashville is bad, and we have two more games vs. them in the next two weeks, which is nice Hjalmarsson is an underrated key to the team, and I think he has helped Campbell play better Our offense has looked awesome, have been outshooting everybody, and Hossa gets added to the lineup in a month...wow Agreed...as long as no opposing teams' shots are going off his skates and into the net.
  18. This is a boring game to watch, but I'll take the 3-1 lead.
  19. Also, the Seahawks could stroll the local Seattle nursey home out there against a team, and it won't be easy with that crowd noise.
  20. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 13, 2009 -> 11:36 PM) The Vikings have a much better offensive line, running back, and defense than the Bears, while having comparable WR's/TE's and only a moderately worse quarterback. The Bears are better on special teams, but I can't see how anybody can look at the Bears and Vikings without superfan glasses on and come to any conclusion other than the Vikings are going to win the divison. I'm hopeful that I am wrong on this and that this quote will end up on somebody's signature in January, but I doubt it. And lol, thanks for putting words in my mouth whitesoxbrian. Because yeah, me saying the Vikings are better than the Bears means they are the '72 Dolphins. Right. Yeah, and they had all of that last year too, and that got them to barely 10 wins and even then they were inconsistent. Favre is playing too good right now to continue to do so, Peterson has slowed down, and last week their DL feasted off of me and you trying to block Edwards and Allen.
  21. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 13, 2009 -> 08:02 PM) The Bears would have to win 3 road games to get to Miami though, because the odds of them winning the division over Minnesota are very, very low, even if TO is brought in. TO would help Cutler, but he wouldn't fix the offensive line or secondary/defense in general issues. I wouldn't make the move since I think the Bears are a wild card team with TO and a wild card team without him, and I don't think you bring in a guy like that unless he makes you noticeably better. You're right. Minnesota is the the next 72 Dolphins!
  22. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Oct 13, 2009 -> 05:55 PM) And the Bears have a defense that is getting older, along with the offensive line. Cashing in now might be a smart idea. Correct. Which is why the Bears should be proactive and ahead of the curve. Sound argument. I agree. Which is why this situation makes all the sense in the world. He will be here for at most 12-14 games. Agree to disagree, for once. I just don't want TO near this team. What have Bennett, Knox, and Hester not done this year for you to once again say- "I wish we had a great WR"? God forbid you ever being wrong. Like I said, I highly doubt this happens. Schefter said that perhaps a team who needs to overtake another team should try to pick him up, and he mentioned the Bears. Therefore, the whole country goes nuts declaring it a possibility. John Clayton just said that there's no way he leaves Buffalo.
