  1. I like how Danesh's video chat thing is going to save Pied Piper. For all the s*** that he gets, Danesh finally wins for once.
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 27, 2016 -> 09:08 AM) So apparently Argentina's entire team is retiring from international soccer. Their FA is in shambles right now. This is more of players protesting than anything. It'll be interesting to see what kind of team they can put together for 2018. That being said, I really don't want Messi to quit international soccer.
  3. Gotta feel really bad for Messi. Hard not to after seeing him cry after the game, even if he missed the pen.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 26, 2016 -> 07:53 PM) This ref is just hilarious. Diaz's second foul wasn't a yellow and Rojo's foul definitely wasn't a red. Yellow at best. Totally changed how the game would be played.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 26, 2016 -> 06:48 PM) I don't care that he gave up four goals, any athlete that competes in sweat pants is a winner in my book. That dude just created a fashion trend for keepers.
  6. QUOTE (danman31 @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 11:03 PM) Have you seen Matt Besler play since the World Cup (although he was solid against Ecuador)? How about Michael Orozco ever? Orozco should lose his spot on the team after his stupid red card at the end of the game.
  7. 4th place finish. We hung around with Colombia, but we just couldn't finish in front of goal. Dempsey looked pretty damn good and Pulisic looked real good after coming on in the 70th.
  8. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 09:48 AM) Yeah, this has been a disaster. Makes my excited catcher SoxNet article from the winter look dumb. Navarro is possibly the worst framer in baseball. He catches the ball weird and doesn't even pretend to frame it most of the time. But then again, umpires need to stop getting fooled by catchers and just call it where it crosses.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 10:32 AM) Because that's the whole point of leaving the eu, and the eu isn't going to give Britain even more favorable terms than they already had. They already had pretty favorable terms. They were basically given special treatment and they were gonna get even more special treatment had they decided to stay.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 10:19 AM) I'm pro electoral college myself...I don't want a few states controlling the will of the entire nation (which they already almost do). Also, as our nation moves closer to the idiocracy it's becoming (people usually know very little about what they're voting for or why), I prefer having such a safeguard. Yeah except that's almost exactly what the electoral college does. But instead of it being the states with the highest population, it's the swing states. Our recent elections are regularly decided by who wins Ohio, Florida, and Virginia.

Way to f*** s*** up Brits.
  12. And all the air just went out of the balloon.
  13. Ah crap it's gonna happen again isn't it?
  14. Alright Shuck. Take a few pitches up there. Kimbrel's wild.
  15. Are the Red Sox playing the infield up? Cause if they are, Avi might actually get a single on one of his signature ground balls.
  16. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 04:35 PM) Damn he didn't quite get it into the gap Close enough. Getting the runner on third is what matters.
  17. Umpire is sucking for Kimbrel too...at least he's consistently bad.
  18. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 04:32 PM) The season is not even halfway over and Lawrie has equaled his 2015 walk total (28). It's too bad he's hitting .230 and striking out at a career high rate.
  19. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 04:30 PM) Lawrie is bound to either K or walk vs. Kimbrel. No way he catches up to the heat Kimbrel throws. Especially if it's on the inside portion of the plate. Called it.
  20. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 04:29 PM) So who closes now if the White Sox take the lead? Duke? Ynoa? I think Robertson will get one more inning if we take a lead. Otherwise, probably Ynoa.
  21. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 04:28 PM) Now let's get some runs...it fells like Lawrie is due. Lawrie is bound to either K or walk vs. Kimbrel. No way he catches up to the heat Kimbrel throws. Especially if it's on the inside portion of the plate.
  22. The only thing I can blame Robin for this game is putting in Albers before Jennings and maybe not leaving Jennings in for the 7th.
  23. If JBJ wanted to bunt right there, it might have been a good idea.
  24. I still think Robertson might be hurt. His walk rate is way up from last year and there's just games where he clearly doesn't have any command.
