  1. The Packers got bailed out twice. Ridiculous.
  2. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 05:36 PM) And the runner was down. Screwed up two obvious ways. They can't challenge to see if the runner is down?
  3. How is possession not challengable? This is bulls***.
  4. The Steelers did have the ball and lateraled it backwards.
  5. If it's a blocked FG, the offensive team shouldn't get the ball back...
  6. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 05:29 PM) Defense bailed out PIT. lmao they got nothing. How do you get a chip shot blocked? Edit: SOB, seriously?
  7. Son of a b****. Packers just got the ball at the 3.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 21, 2013 -> 09:51 PM) Hornets new logo Thank god they're not the Bobcast anymore.

PSN is having a sale on CoD Ghosts for PS4. It's $45 and I got a $10 credit from my PS4 purchase. Not sure if it's worth $35 though. I already played the campaign on PC and I don't know if I want to spend $35 on multiplayer.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Dec 21, 2013 -> 09:34 AM) NBA2k14 looks great, but I've heard online is even more of a pain on the next gen. I've only played offline, but that stinks. Also, you don't get updated rosters right away. Fifa is the game I want to try. Everyone I know has said that game is perfection on next gen. I haven't played online yet. MyCareer and MyGM are enough to keep me busy. One thing that really bothers me is that I can't edit the order of the franchise fantasy draft.
  11. That Texas lineup just got a lot better. Their top 5 is pretty dangerous with Choo, Beltre, and Fielder.

Madden 25 for PS4/XB1 is actually pretty good. It is more or less a direct port of the PS3/X360 version, but the gameplay feels crisper. The run blocking is way better and passing feels more fun. The menus also don't lag anymore, which annoyed the hell out of me on PS3. NBA 2K14 looks amazing and plays a lot like the previous gen game. I also really dig the sharing feature on PS4. I've used it twice already.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 11:20 AM) Yeah. Sony always has 12 titles up you can download for free. Usually big pretty big titles too. Like right now Uncharted 3, Borderlands 2, and Dragon's Dogma are available among others. You then get to keep these titles forever even if they are no longer available from Sonys 12 game list. Anyways it's your money, but I said it before, the best part of PS4 for me so far is that it forced me to upgrade to PS Plus. Too bad it's more or less useless for PS4 other than the ability to play others online. I'm going to download Borderlands 2, but I don't know how much I'll actually play it.
  14. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 10:44 AM) You clearly haven't used Mobo because I've been able to do those things for quite some time. I haven't used it in a long time. Just tried it out again, and you're right, it does support gestures now. One thing I did find Mobo was missing though: it doesn't play web videos from the browser. When I click a video from Chrome, I usually get a list of apps to open it with. Mobo was not on that list, but MX was.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 10:40 AM) Brian Windhorst reporting that the Bulls will not trade Deng this season and have high hopes that they will re-sign him next summer. That sound you just heard was every bulls fan throwing up at the same time, except Waygodai, and RZZZA f***. This. Front. Office.
  16. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 10:37 AM) I guess that's something I couldn't care less about. If I'm going to pop on a 60 minute TV show to watch, I'll spend 3 seconds looking at the video player's UI. It matters when you're actually in the video player. MX has gestures to change brightness, volume, etc. in the player that Mobo doesn't have. It's a better player and the developers clearly care more about it. The ads only pop up when you stop the video, they don't actually interfere when you watch videos.
  17. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 10:28 AM) The app I linked above plays every file type and is free. Its UI also hasn't been updated since the days of Android 2.x.
  18. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 10:12 AM) Seriously. ...and having to use adblock shouldn't be necessary. It's a great video player that plays pretty much everything. You can spend $5 to get rid of the ads if you want.
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 02:49 PM) A video player with Ads? Pass I use AdBlock.
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 03:48 PM) That dude is Caulfield on crack. Props to anybody who read that whole thing. tl;dr was invented for walls of text like that.
  21. The Sox would need all of their young players (Davidson, Eaton, Johnson, Abreu, Dayan, etc.) to break out and produce if we are to have any chance of competing.
  22. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 12:56 PM) Just install something like this video player and it doesn't matter where you save them on the device. You should try MX Player. Mobo is so old.
  23. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 09:54 AM) Question about ripping movies and putting them on an Android device. One thing I love about iOS is that you can import ripped movies/TV shows into a dedicated video playback program that organizes the videos. However, on Android, i don't see a way to do this. If I create a "Movies" folder, it shows up in the Gallery app. Is there any way to have these show up in the 'Play Movies & TV" or some other app that organizes them? This is one of the apps I use to organize my videos. You can even stream from your computer without having to setup much of anything. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...mizuu&hl=en You can also try Plex, which is $5.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 07:42 AM) I cannot wait to play the new Killzone sometime late next week - and of course, beautiful NBA 2k14. I thought I'd keep the PS3, but the more I think about it, I should probably sell it. I only got sports games for the PS4 and I still have unfinished games on PS3. I think I'll keep it until I finish the games I want to finish.

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 02:07 AM) So you played a console and it didn't stand up to your PC? Well, that's revolutionary. In other news, the Yankees are still good. Like Steve said, I did play a port (although FIFA was supposed to be a very good port). However, you do understand that developers rarely develop specifically for the PC anymore right? So pretty much all PC games are ports, just with better resolution and AA. So of course I expected better from a next gen console considering the PS3 was basically a PC from 2006.
