  1. I'm surprised they reversed that call. But knowing this crew, they'll rule that complete somehow. I don't think there's enough visual evidence to overturn it.
  2. Two great deep balls by Cutler this game. Hopefully, he doesn't get too cocky and start throwing too many of those. That last play was a busted coverage.
  3. Wow Forte owned that series.
  4. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 05:02 PM) They're professionals!!!! How many years have they been playing?! Does an NFL defensive coordinator really have to remind his team to keep playing until the whistle blows? And how many of these guys played for Lovie? Did they suddenly forget everything he taught them? I mean come on man. That was basic football. I think that says a lot about Tucker.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 04:56 PM) Well, he probably would be able to if he played his best QB on the season. It looked like they were finally going to get something going in that last drive, then Alshon fumbled...
  6. Whatever happened to the old Bears defense where they would swarm towards every loose ball? Mel Tucker...ugh.
  7. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 04:27 PM) Does Jay realize he is playing for millions of dollars? That's probably making him play worse.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 04:25 PM) Cutler looking awful in 3 of these 4 drives. He could have ran for the first on that last 3rd down. Instead he threw an awful pass to Alshon. No f***ups yet, but he's certainly not moving the ball.
  9. Release Podlesh. Now.
  10. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 04:19 PM) That's 3 free points for GB Yup. That touchback call was also bulls***.
  11. If only the Cowboys didn't pull a Cowboys against the Packers...
  12. Just realized that Jeremy Lin's been really good this year. Almost 15 PPG with a .636 TS%, which is better than Harden, Parsons, and Dwight.
  13. So if Cutler struggles out of the gate Sunday and the game gets out of hand a bit (say a 2 or 3 score lead by the second quarter), does Trestman go with McCown?
  14. Just tried out Xposed framework and I'm wondering I didn't try it before. It basically allows you to get custom ROM features on stock, provided you have root.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 25, 2013 -> 10:11 AM) Do you ever get sick of making anti-Cutler posts? I think Jake has always been a Cutler supporter until the whole McCown thing.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 24, 2013 -> 01:52 PM) Cutler's main harrasser Clay Matthews isnt going to be playing, so that is good for him. Rodgers just did an interview, said they did another scan and they dont have a definitive answer until Thursday Erik Walden also tortured him quite a bit.
  17. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 24, 2013 -> 10:32 AM) I meant prime time Cutler/Bears vs the Pack, some of those games were absolute nightmares. The only good game Cutler had against the Packers was on Monday Night Football. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxs...01009270chi.htm And he wasn't even that good, but it was his best game against the Packers.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 10:34 PM) Wow. If the Falcons pull this off, San Fran would have to win at Arizona or miss the playoffs. Somewhere in Candlestick a muscle car enthusiast firefighter is getting nervous.
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 02:15 PM) So someone quickly educate me since I'm not a big NFC North guy. Are all 3 teams still in the hunt for the division crown? Only the Bears and Packers.
  20. QUOTE (Boogua @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 02:12 PM) Agreed. I think a big part of the reason that the defense is having trouble creating turnovers is because the defense lost 3 pro bowlers though. Think about the roster turnover. Lovie had continuity on the defense for many years. He wouldn't have had that this year. Players like Roach, Idonije, and Urlacher were around for a while. That combined with the number of injuries is just a recipe for disaster. Losing Tillman was huge. He was good for at least 1 forced fumble every 2 games.
  21. Wow, last night's loss put the Bears' point differential to -28.
  22. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 01:12 PM) Bears are allowing 5.40 ypc this year. Sixth worst in league history. I didn't realize it was that bad. It's pretty routine to see other teams run a 5-6 yard play, so I'm not surprised whatsoever.
  23. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 10:39 PM) Although McCown's numbers are a bit skewed cause of the INT drops that DBs/LBs should have made on him (as well as him facing bottom team defenses) this offense still looked much better going through him. He fits Trestman's West coast style much more than the gun slinger Cutler (his short passes, intelligence to read defenses and when to roll out and avoid pressure are much better). But.. I still would like to see Cutler in the same system for more than one year as well. Jay was so hesitant in the pocket tonight. Any sort of pressure caused him to hesitate, which led a good amount of his sacks tonight.
  24. With ESPN's reports of Rodgers not even coming close to playing, I'm not sure if Rodgers will even play next week.
  25. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 10:31 PM) Even though you called many Cutler bashers emotional posters and I hate to say I told you so... but I told you so I think it was quite evident that Cutler was the team's best option in previous years. However, all of that changed this year with Trestman, his offensive system, and McCown's play.
