  1. Finally got a swing on the curve.
  2. FO was under a lot of pressure since the team under-performed so much. Yaz probably felt the pressure to get back sooner with how bad the team was. But he actually just ended up hurting the team with how terrible he was.
  3. Last year, Yaz pops that up to the SS
  4. Nah, I'd rather not watch baseball till 11 every night.
  5. Lynn threw 3 curves and the Astros didn't swing at a single one lol.
  6. Real good jump and range on that one.
  7. That start with the shadows in Seattle where he threw the pitch like 20 something percent was one of his best starts.
  8. I'm very curious to see how much Lynn uses his curveball today. If he's got it working, he might actually not suck against the Astros.
  9. Blackouts suck. I can't watch this since Austin is blacked out for Astros games, even though it's 2.5 hours away. So now I'm watching a stream with like a 45 second delay.
  10. Already the same amount of hits with RISP as last night.
  11. Javier looks like he's gonna commit at least one pitch clock violation tonight.
  12. The late movement on Javier's slider is crazy
  13. Do they really need the pitch clock in 2 separate places on the broadcast?
  14. TA had a great jump. That wasn't even close.
  15. Robert can't hit 2 if he keeps looking like this.
  16. I can't believe they gave Abreu an error on the play he got out at 3rd on. That ball was smoked.
  17. It's up there with his near no hitter and start against Toronto last year where I think he had 13 strikeouts. The funny thing about his near no hitter was that he didn't look all that dominant for about half the game. He looked straight up filthy all game long last night.
  18. Houston is literally Lynn's kryptonite. Hopefully he has his new curve ball working today so they can't just sit fastball all game long.
  19. Seattle owns them. Karinchak also blew the game for them so that makes it even better.
  20. I mean, if Soxtalk was managing, Sheets would have pinch hit for Vaughn and who knows what might have happened.
  21. We won 1 game in Houston, against Verlander too. Cueto shut them out.
  22. I was very encouraged by how he went after their hitters. Usually guys who never closed before end up either too amped or too nervous. Reylo was amped but was pumping in strikes.
  23. Andrew just proved he'll eat anything with ice cream.
  24. Probably should have scored 4 or 5 runs with how many guys we had on base. You obviously take the win, but we gotta hit better with RISP.
