Teams need to stop throwing him low off speed pitches. He just likes golfing those for homers.

Gaddis strikes out 12 per 9 in the minors and walks 3 per 9. I don't think this guy is that much like Austin Pruitt, but I don't think we should take him lightly just because he got beat up by the Astros.

Menechino's reputation as a guy who preaches average over power is very clear though. However, he was also the hitting coach before Tony was manager and the team hit for power in 2020.

Considering they have no off days for the next 2 weeks and are using Pilkington and Morris as 2 of their starters, it's possible. McKenzie is at 165 innings and he's never thrown more than 143 in his pro career. Quantrill is at 157 innings and he's never thrown more than 150 innings in his pro career. It hasn't caught up to them yet but we'll see.

I believe the Sox were 3 games up as late as September 18th and ended up losing the division by 3 games. Definitely possible.

His whole approach that AB was to dink it to LF. I guess he knew his pitches were gonna sink away. But if he was looking to pull on that slider he probably hits a grand slam.
