  1. The org's and his approach to hitting got screwed over by the change they made to the ball after 2020. Guys like Yoan and Eloy could flick their wrists and go oppo with the bouncy ball they had in 2019 and 2020. Once they got rid of that and stopped letting our pitchers use sticky stuff, we went from serious contenders to just a decent team.
  2. Chase is doing this with 2nd percentile bat speed. Just goes to show it's not always about how hard you swing (cough Quero cough)
  3. I think you let him try and get their middle of the order out.
  4. That grounder Sam hit just died when it hit the infield dirt. I thought that was gonna trickle through for a single.
  5. He's just so good when he's on that it feels like a let down when he's not lol
  6. I was hoping Taylor would keep it out of slam territory and go 2 innings so they can hand this over to Richards for mop up duty. Might not be the case.
  7. Gonzalez showing that he's not a 1B a few times today. You can't go that far out to try and field that.
  8. They're using him to try and get the top of the order out. It makes sense, but he doesn't seem to have his best stuff today. Just spiking his curve so far.
  9. Gotta help your pitcher out there Romo. That was in your glove.
  10. I don't think Grant has his A stuff today.
  11. I really liked how aggressive Will managed this game with the bullpen with the off day we have tomorrow. Using your 2 best left handed relievers as openers worked out. Newcomb was really good. Fedde has managed to give you 3 scoreless innings, which is probably the most you can ask of him against a good lefty heavy lineup like the Dodgers.
  12. With all the hamstring injuries on this team, idk if I want him gunning it every time.
  13. I'm sure part of the great attendance this weekend is that Shohei is in town, but you gotta imagine we'd getting 30k a game even if it was the Royals. This team is just fun to watch right now.
  14. 6 batters, 6 hits, 6 runs lol
  15. It would be pretty funny if we win this series with just 2 innings of scoring.
  16. Don't stop now boys!
  17. That works too!
  18. Gotta move Beni over to 3rd Colson.
  19. Antonacci absolutely crushed his homer. 415 feet. He absolutely can hit for more power if he decides to just start pulling the ball in the air.
  20. Sheehan kinda lost it. 3rd time through also helps. He was nearly unhittable the first 5 innings.
  21. Beni! Let's go!
  22. Stick to baseball Steve lol
  23. A hamate injury can linger too. It's what Beni had back in 2022 and he didn't have any power for a whole year afterwards.
