They'd probably have to pay at least half his contract to dump him for anything worthwhile. We're better off platooning him at DH for the rest of the year. He's probably gonna end up with a wRC+ around 100, which while not ideal, is not the end of the world. I also don't think he's really blocking anyone down in the minors unless you think Gonzalez should be DHing over him. You wouldn't bring up Montgomery to take his spot as a DH.
