Castillo might strike out 15 guys today.

It was more like a 7 run explosion against an injured pitcher and Aaron Sanchez.

I don't think it matters. His change up is probably his best pitch and lefties don't do that well against him.

Seattle's gonna be tough in the playoffs. Castillo, Ray, and Gilbert is gonna be tough to score runs on. They also have 3-4 real good arms in that bullpen.

The rain is really helping out the Twins and Guardians recently.

That's just how the Seattle play by play guy is.

So is Gavin Sheets for real?
You're assuming Burger can play 1B...

I'm pretty sure all the guys the Mariners threw out there today make less than Diekman.

I eventually thought of Lopez. It's crazy just how bad of results we've gotten from the offense. Moncada - really bad Grandal - cooked Anderson - hurt Eloy - hurt, but decent when healthy Robert - hurt Jose is literally the only core guy who hasn't gotten hurt and is actually playing well.

Moncada has a chance to bounce back just cause of his age and his lingering injuries this year. Grandal is cooked unless he goes back on PEDs. That might not be the worst thing since he's on the last year of his deal anyhow.

I was talking to a friend of mine who's a big baseball fan and really big into fantasy baseball. We were talking about Cease and he asked me if there was anyone besides Cease that has outperformed expectations on the team this year. I immediately said Cueto, but after that...I literally couldn't think of anyone else. It's amazing that not one guy on the offensive side of the ball has had a career year or even a real good year by their standards.

That was the first homer Lopez has given up all year. Kinda unbelievable.

Sheets and Vaughn are slow pitch softball corner outfielders.

That's game. Don't make mistakes to Raleigh.

I think we all knew he was gonna get a fastball to hit there. He didn't see another pitch in the zone the rest of the AB.

Arb eligible.

Doubt it. Other competent teams wouldn't try this hard to make those 2 guys outfielders.

Yup I wouldn't have been that mad had he popped that up honestly, knowing who's on deck.

Well that's assuming they can even score one run to win the game. It sure as hell doesn't look like it.

"A guy who throws 60+% sliders won't throw me a slider...no way". He said as he took the 2nd slider for a strike.

It's sad that I think Sheets looks more capable than Vaughn in the OF this year.

Yeah, but not when he has no shot of touching the pitcher he's facing.

I'm guessing Pollock's plan was take until he gets a strike and then cheat fastball.
-

Pollock just hurt his hand on that swing.
