  1. It's great for minor league pace of play. Although I saw Keuchel pitch a month ago in AAA and he did go over the pitch clock once or twice. Some guys will definitely need to adjust, but waiting at least 30 seconds between pitches gets real old.
  2. It's never been more imperative to get good left handed hitters. I think you'll see guys like Gallo have their batting average shoot up 30 points.
  3. I'd go with Lynn on normal rest.
  4. At these speeds this is basically slow pitch softball
  5. lmao the only guy Yoan didn't get a hit off of is a position player throwing 45.
  6. Cease should be at 6 bWAR at the end of the night. He's 1.2 WAR ahead of Verlander. He's still .7 fWAR behind Verlander though.
  7. Romy and Yoan sitting next to each other. They have half of the Sox hits lol
  8. I would have pulled him after 5. The rest of this game is meaningless.
  9. At least it's over .600. This game probably means he'll finish the season above .200.
  10. 5 for 5. And this time it's all against real pitchers.
  11. This park is good for triples right?
  12. Seby definitely salivating at the thought of facing a position player later.
  13. Triple away from a cycle.
  14. Watch us not score 14 runs the next 3 games.
  15. The A's are definitely gonna throw a position player today.
  16. He had almost no fastball command today and he still ended up throwing 5 shutout innings with 8 Ks. The only way he doesn't win is if he struggles in his next 4 starts or if Verlander comes back and gets in at least 2 really good starts. Cease already leads Verlander in bWAR and the inning differential between them may be enough that it doesn't matter how good Verlander's peripherals are.
  17. That's probably it for Dylan.
  18. Yeah let's hope we also score 10 tomorrow.
  19. So close to a 3 homer game. God damn!
  20. Just about everyone on the team is killing the ball.
  21. Romy's been killing the ball too
  22. Dylan throwing the slider at 91. It's almost a cutter now.
