He had almost no fastball command today and he still ended up throwing 5 shutout innings with 8 Ks. The only way he doesn't win is if he struggles in his next 4 starts or if Verlander comes back and gets in at least 2 really good starts. Cease already leads Verlander in bWAR and the inning differential between them may be enough that it doesn't matter how good Verlander's peripherals are.
