  1. He might look like this for a week and then go back to being miserable for a few weeks or get hurt. We're at the best part of the Eloy cycle right now.
  2. He has no pull power. He's hit 4 fly balls to the pull side all season and he doesn't have a hit on any of them. The guy has a great approach and doesn't stick to it for whatever reason.
  3. TA with RISP pulls the ball 42% of the time when he puts the ball in play. When he pulls, he has hit it on the ground 20 out of 22 times. So yeah...it pretty much is every damn time whenever he pulls the ball with RISP. TA's pull rate with no runners on is around 26%. There is a clear change in approach whenever he hits with men on base.
  4. If Tim can't hit a line drive on those inside pitches he really shouldn't be swinging at them.
  5. Can TA pull the ball through a hole somewhere?
  6. Isn't he kind of short for first base too? As evidenced on that ball that got over his head against Oakland.
  7. Yoan just sitting there and looking at pitches right down the pipe.
  8. We just doubled the amount of runs scored off Singer in the past 2 years.
  9. He packed his lunch and ate a few Ribeyes.
  10. He's out there throwing low 90s. Not good. Also, Lynn seems to give up a lot of hits to rookies.
  11. It'll be interesting to see if the 1 hour delay had any effect on Lynn.
  12. Good Hahn deserves all the criticism from the national media.
  13. Same. The softball fields I play on have outfields that are half dirt. This drought is pretty awful.
  14. It was the hottest July of all time in Austin. I'm sure it was similar in DFW. I was in Arlington earlier last month for Six flags and the parking lot temperature was 115.
  15. I guess the good thing is that we won't have to face Singer more than once through the lineup. Who's available to pitch more than 1 inning? Banks just pitched last night. Maybe Lambert?
  16. That doesn't make sense. How does the run score if the runner doesn't reach home and just jogs back to the dugout?
  17. It'd be pretty shitty if the rain ruins Lance's start when he's actually looking good.
  18. Wouldn't the run not count then no matter what the Royals do?
  19. He threw it like 6 times against the Yankees and he still shut them out.
  20. That was one uncomfortable looking slide for Vaughn.
  21. What's the point? He won't be able to play much this year and he'll probably suck. Might as well just try to sign him in the off-season.
