  1. Tim layed off 2 inside fastballs...but then dribbled a fastball right back to Woodruff.
  2. Makes me think we probably could have gotten him if we wanted to.
  3. The Pirates had to pay money to get this deal. They must really like Marcano.
  4. lmao what?
  5. Burger is probably the closest we have to Marcano but I doubt the Pirates want another corner IF.
  6. Escobar will probably be cheaper since he's out of the division. The Tigers and Sox rarely make trades.
  7. What happens when Escobar is the only trade option left...?
  8. I'm guessing he's going to play OF with Crowenworth holding down 2B.
  9. Unless that 7 year $70 million deal included opt outs after the first 2 years, there's no way Buxton would accept that deal. Even $10 million a year is a lowball offer for him after the first year or 2.
  10. The broadcast just time traveled back to the 5th inning.
  11. So...with Cleveland probably losing tonight and falling to exactly .500, I was wondering when we last beat a team above .500 on the road. Well, apparently it's been almost 3 months since that's happened. The last time it happened was against the Reds on May 4th. Even then, the Reds are a team barely above .500. So, the last time we actually beat a a good team on the road was against Boston on April 18th. This team has some serious issues to work out on the road. In the mean time, we've gone 0-1 against Boston, 0-3 against the Yankees, 0-4 against the Astros, and now 0-2 against the Brewers. That's a 10 game losing streak to good teams on the road.
  12. He should be killing guys like Suter.
  13. Tampa's offense has put up 18 runs with Cruz in the lineup. Let's not face them in the ALDS.
  14. Stuff usually isn't his issue. He had some issues with velo the past few years, but he always makes infuriatingly bad pitches in batches.
  15. Wait until you put him in a close game and he throws some hanging sliders.
  16. Yup, he wasn't sharp at all.
  17. It sucks just how winnable this game was. If we make 1 defensive play in the 4th and Yoan touches home plate, it's probably a tie game at this point at worst.
  18. Good god Collins sucks on defense.
  19. They were scoring 2 or 3 runs against the fucking Royals.
  20. Ruiz's change up is basically just a slower fastball. It barely moves.
  21. We're missing some cutters right down the pipe.
