  1. He's probably gonna cost us whatever we have left in the farm. Might even need to give them Crochet for him.
  2. Vaughn might actually be better than Ozuna in LF. But a trade like that actually does work financially.
  3. You can get someone much better than Tapia without thinking about trading Eloy. Eloy has like 70 trade value on Baseball Trade Values. Tapia has negative value.
  4. Even though his wOBA looks good right now (SSS), his wRC+ is 107 cause he plays at Coors. His career numbers away from Coors look flat out terrible over his career (like under .300 wOBA). Even if you think he's started to turn into a better hitter the past 2 years, he's nothing more than a .320 wOBA guy away from Coors. I'm not trading away a guy like Eloy for him.
  5. Tapia is terrible, even in Coors. Eloy is worth way more than him.
  6. He'll probably only torture us for 2 more years until Cleveland can't afford him and trades him before he hits free agency.
  7. Plesac's had much better velocity today. He was throwing low 90s the past 2 starts vs. the Sox.
  8. haha it's too bad it didn't work
  9. I don't think Abreu's problem is his bat being slow. His exit velos and hard hit % are still really good (although not as good as in previous years). His problem is that he's hitting 57% ground balls. That's about 12% more than his career average. It doesn't matter if he hits the ball hard if it's on the ground right at the SS. You could argue that he's swinging early or cheating on fastballs so he's rolling over the ball more. But he'd also have much lower EVs if that were the case.
  10. His career numbers in April are nowhere near this bad. It's his worst month, but he's never hit .200 in April before.
  11. If the Mariners weren't above .500 right now you can think about someone like Haniger.
  12. This is basically a 3 inning game now with the Indians' bullpen.
  13. And then he walks Ramirez on 4 pitches that weren't even close.
  14. Giolito looking much better since that dropped pop up.
  15. Vaughn has only made one play where I felt a more experienced LFer would probably make and that was the double off his glove in Seattle. And even that isn't a routine or easy play. The defense has definitely been surprising.
  16. Vaughn is seeing Plesac really well
  17. That was his best inning of the game and he still got scored on.
  18. Even if SS has that by default, he needs to call Yoan off since that was closer to 3B than SS.
  19. Should have been out of the inning.
  20. Is it just me or does it take Eaton a long time to get the ball out of the corner?
  21. Well today's game has gone splendidly.
