  1. Vaughn whiff rate on fastballs so far: 36% Robert whiff rate on fastballs last year: 36% Collins whiff rate on fastballs last year: 39% League average whiff rate on fastballs: 16% To be fair to Zack and Robert, both of them have brought their whiff rates down on fastballs to around 22% this season. SSS though. I believe Vaughn will get better, it's not easy to play a position you've never played as a rookie. But he's gotta start hitting more fastballs.
  2. LOL what? I said he has a good approach and sees pitches, which is why he has a pretty good OBP despite hitting .130. It's absolutely true that he hasn't handled fastballs in the zone well. It's understandable for a rookie, but with the way he was hyped as a hitter, I was expecting him to get more than 1 hit on fastballs 2 weeks into the season. You can go look up the splits. For his pitch values, he's at -1.1 runs on fastballs already. He'll be fine, but it's laughable to not be little bit disappointed by his hitting thus far.
  3. What's weird is that Vaughn has probably exceeded my expectations as a fielder, but has been disappointing at the plate. He has a good approach and sees pitches, but he can't hit fastballs in the zone.

Diamond Dynasty has a lot of cool stuff in it this year. I'm glad they finally let you equip real team uniforms. They also have some throwbacks too.
  5. Cleveland is trying to make our defense not look so bad.
  6. Holy shit Vaughn!
  7. Way to waste Kopech in a game you can't win.
  8. They got a run with no balls out of the infield.
  9. Wow what the hell is going on?
  10. Come on Yaz...you gotta block that.
  11. I always thought Ramirez was just fat, but those pics of him when he first came up and him in the minors paint a different picture.
  12. You want to win every game, but I was happy with a split before the series started.
  13. Not a fan of using Kopech today. You'll probably need him when Cease starts in Boston.
  14. That's the 2nd time Naylor has hit a comebacker off Crochet. He's gotten on base twice.
  15. Damn Tim rifled that ball.
  16. Perez even tried to sell it a bit after. Cause Eddings didn't immediately call the HBP.
  17. I did notice that. I guess they thought if he missed with the slider, it wouldn't be a hittable pitch. Most of his change ups he threw for strikes in the zone.
  18. Especially to a right hander, I throw the change there. You heated Perez up 3 times upstairs, it only made sense to throw a change.
  19. If Tony wants him to, you know he's gonna do it.
  20. Rodon as a starter throwing harder than Crochet and Kopech. What a transformation.
  21. What's impressive is that Rodon didn't even have his best slider tonight. He had a lot of movement, but his control on it wasn't good. His changeup was his money pitch along with really good fastball location.
  22. Eddings knew the Perez HBP was bullshit and gave Carlos another call.
  23. You gotta be kidding me.
